The illegal-immigration crisis is caused by insane government policies to not enforce immigration laws. We have a very liberal legal immigration policy which is good for America, but illegal immigation is absolutely not good for our country.
Steve you know the answer. Biden basically said the door is open. And now they are welding open several gates in the border wall that were put there to shut up the environmental nuts. Antelope migration they say. Seems we'll get a few million illegals migrating as well.
What crisis are you talking about? Do you have statistics indicating more are coming now than in the past?

Do you watch the news? Do you not see the hundreds of thousands of illegals who poured into our country? The mayors of LA, Chicago, DC and NYC say they can’t handle the influx.

In fiscal year 2021, the number of individuals that the Border Patrol encountered as they illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border jumped to 1,734,686. In fiscal year 2022, it jumped again to 2,378,944. And 2023 will be more than 2022. Liberals don't know about a lot of things. They live in their own little world, most of the time far away from brown people.
Three things: 1. Our country's name is very welcoming: United States of America. If it was Iceland, the land of hell, or something similar, we really would not have this problem, now would we? 2. This is the land of opportunities, the golden gate of freedom, the idea that all men are created equal no matter their station in life. Many come here for economic opportunities. Our draconian immigration laws make it difficult to do it legally on your own, and you need a sponsor such as an employer or a family member. And they generally pay for you to get in. 3. This has been going long before the Biden Administration. Why just the last 2 and a half years? But the reality is that the US foreign policy has not treated our southern neighbors equally. We tend to dictate since we try to use the Monroe Doctrine as our authority. The Southern Neighbors want to work with us, but they don't trust us or our objectives when we do decide to help them. But we need total cooperation from the South American and Central American Countries, along with Mexico. And that is very hard to do because of how we treated them in the past.
Increases in migration, and immigration commonly coincide with periods of economic, and geopolitical uncertainty. Without doing a lot of data research. My best guess would be you probably are seeing a steady level of Mexican immigration combined with increasing levels of immigration from other South, and central American countries that are not handling currency volatility so well. Just a guess though.
The number is more like 7 million with a probable all time record number is August. They are coming here for free stuff. Free food, free shelter, free clothes, free medical care and even a free cell phone. They getting in here because Biden has opened the border. The shorter term goal is to flip Texas and make it a Democrat state. That’s why Biden wants to put ankle bracelets on them to keep them in Texas. That would give a lock on the presidency to the Democrats. The longer term goal is to flip the entire country to the Democrats. The next step could be a terrorist attack. The last number I heard was 160 people on the terrorist watch list have crossed this year. That does not count the got aways. If it happens, watch the corporate news media do all they can to coverup the origins of the terrorists.
How do you not know that the number of people coming is significantly higher now? It doesn't seem genuine that someone is asking this question for the sake of a conversation. It sounds like someone is trying to get others to waste their time hunting down basic information. The responses you are receiving are due to people assuming you are trolling them. I'd suggest doing some basic research prior to joining the conversation.
Supposedly they are getting $2,200 per month on top of that if they go the CBP One route. And these dumbass kids right out of college that vote D wonder why they can't find a house they can afford to buy. The illegals are snapping up anything remotely affordable.
And Biden has feverishly been removing remote surveillance on the border to reduce the # of "got aways" counted, which are most usually identified by remote surveillance.
Incentives like free healthcare, drivers license, sanctuary, and tax free income to repay their debt to the cartels for letting them pass through their territory. Illegal immigration provides a steady source of income for the cartels so they can grow stronger and make life for the poor people south of our border even more miserable, increasing the need to flee. The pain and suffering is an acceptable price for the political benefits to Democrats.
I can only speculate, but it looks to me like another inside job. Domestic enemies and perhaps foreign enemies are promoting the flood of humans, taking advantage of the inherent urge of humans to emigrate.
