These types of rumors always circulate after a tragedy such as this. They said the exact same thing after 9/11.

The truth of the matter is, in a country as large as the USA or one that is under attack constantly such as Israel, there is always some type of chatter about terrorist attacks of one sort or another and in the overwhelming majority of cases, nothing major comes to pass.

With 9/11, I seem to recall there being chatter about terrorism and airports, but in truth, what is supposed to be done about that? If you really do not know the exact plan, that tidbit of potentially legitimate information does you no good whatsoever. Nobody would have heard chatter about terrorists and airports and think they are going to hijack planes with box cutters and use the planes as bombs to attack targets.

Because there is always some sort of terrorist chatter going on, everytime an attack happens you can claim that they had heard about it beforehand. They cannot shut down air travel every time there is some chatter because in most cases nothing is going to happen. In a similar vein, I lived in Atlanta during the Olympics, so I followed that bombing very closely. The bomber had called in and said there is a bomb in Centennial Olympic Park 30 minutes before it went off. I also remember reading at the time that this was I believe one of several hundred bomb threats during those Olympics. You can ponder why didnt they evacuate Centennial Park, but if there are several hundred bomb threats, that means that this particular bomb threat did not REALLY let them know there is a bomb. It only let them know that another whackjob is calling in a bomb threat.

I would imagine for Israel, hearing that there might be a terrorist attack is just a regular Monday.

Our pro Israel MSM continues to refer to what is now simply mass murder as a "War" when only one side has a US funded Air Force, a Navy, a modern, fully equipped Army, nuclear weapons.

Israel's US Funded Arms industry is so advanced because only Israel has what they regard as human "Lab rats"(1) to test out illegal genotoxic weapons, newly developed D.I.M.E. bombs, Bio-Chem weapons, and D.U. & N.D.U. munitions(2) etc.

In other words, the illegal weaponry Israel is expending on and in Gaza is designed not just to kill immediately but also to cause cancer, birth deaths and malformations and other untreatable wounds.

Regrettably, Zionist occupiers are so eager to exterminate Palestine's native residents with toxic munitions that it didn't consider that the toxic dust from D.U. & N.D.U. ordinance would also sicken and kill(3) nearby "Settlers".

Since Israel is currently expending tons more carcinogens, Genotoxic ordinance and other poisons on Gaza's men women and children, we can expect Netanyahu's genocidal rampage to sicken and kill even those not yet born
That means that Palestine's genocidal occupier will not only kill tens of thousands of Gaza's tormented residents since 7 October but will deliberately poison Palestinians (and Jews) well into the future from the toxic dust that knows no borders .

You're right about about the Palestinian death toll rising in the next weeks, months and, now, even generations as Israel's criminal arsenal continues to make Gaza uninhabitable for any one.

    Thanks,

EXCERPT "“The Lab,” which won a recent award at DocAviv, Israel’s documentary Oscars, is due to premiere in the U.S. in August. Directed by Yotam Feldman, the film presents the first close-up view of Israel’s arms industry and the dealers who have enriched themselves.

The title relates to the film’s central argument: that Israel has rapidly come to rely on the continuing captivity of Palestinians in what are effectively the world’s largest open-air prisons.

The reason is that there are massive profits to be made from testing Israeli military innovations on the more than four million Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank."CONTINUED

The 50 day 2014 operation dispersed the largest amount of DU by way of bunker buster bombs and other undisclosed DU armaments, such as DIME mini bomb-lets etc.

In the future the chances of the people living in the dispersal zone will acquire cancers, birth defects , still births, and other known, unknown or untraceable and undiagnosable diseases. Many of them had been burned from the inside, and distorted to the point that they cannot return to life again.”[16] “When the shrapnel hit the body, it causes very strong burns that destroy the tissues around the bones…it burns and destroys internal organs, like the liver, kidneys, and the spleen and other organs and makes saving the wounded almost impossible. Interesting logic that you employ.

Assuming that everything you allege is true and that Israel is so eager to exterminate Palestinians with their horrific weapons that not only kill immediately but also cause cancer, birth defects etc, then why on earth would the Palestinian's elected government embark on this attack that would give Israel the political cover to commit these atrocities with their far superior weaponry?

You based your theory on erroneous info. How am I supposed to respond to it without correcting the erroneous info? We should go one step at a time. This is the first step.

Erroneous how? Please elaborate. Another post from another thread with nothing but obscure youtube links certainly does not suffice. At some point, you need to actually say something if you want your position to be taken seriously.

I think I made it pretty clear. I don't want to say it directly because I might be accused of going off topic. You know how things work here.

    You have said nothing.

You posted a link to a post in another thread that contains a bunch of obscure YouTube links.

Exactly what is it that you believe doing so has "made pretty clear"?

If your point is that one can find obscure links that say basically anything, then yes, you have made that clear, but Im not so sure that is what you think you are accomplishing.

I think that you might agree that the heinous Hamas attack was irrational and in many ways, suicidal.

Only desperate people with absolutely no hope for the future who have been ruthlessly tormented for 75 years commit such suicidal and senseless crimes.

Most Gazans know nothing but ceaseless Zionist humiliation, home demolition, land theft, air strikes, murdered families and confinement.

The Warsaw ghetto uprising was just as irrational and just as futile but desperate people do desperate things.

    Thanks,

That would be believable if Israel stopped building more and more settlements. Since the peace accord the number of illegal settlements has quadrupled

You're being deliberately obtuse. You said this.
Look at the link in post #54. Do you see a connection? I'm not saying it directly because I might get accused of going off topic. This has happened to me before.

In your mind, why do you think that Israel has the Palestinians in such a box? Is it a direct reaction to the specific actions of Palestinians and their allies?

Netrnyahu has opposed that for a long time now.

Equating Israel government action to "the Jewish people" is a dishonest and transparent propaganda move that needs to end.

The above is another dishonest and transparent propaganda move that needs to end. No, Hamas is an evil terrorist organization. Merely criticizing Netanyahu and his current regime doesn't mean one must support Hamas or anyone else who indiscriminately slaughters innocent people (which ironically includes Netanyahu's military)

Believe it or not, there exist people not entirely trapped by tribalism, who can recognize horrible things done regardless who does them and regardless who they are done to.

I don't think that there's one, single answer to your question so here are a couple.

One of several reasons that the Palestinians are in such a box is that the Zionist lobbies and International Bankers used their influence in London to abrogate the McMahon Agreement(1) in favor of the Balfour Declaration.
Briefly put, the Colonial Powers have favored the Zionist cause over the disorganized Muslim powers.

Another is that their allies have not been very reliable, generous or helpful allies to the Palestinians.
My experience among the Muslims is that they are kinder to foreign travelers than the needy among them.
For example, in Mosul, Iraq, I was befriended by a resident of Mosul who was my generous host for a few days in showing me ancient local archeological sites.

One afternoon, we were being followed by about 25 ragged, young beggars which is not uncommon. One of the smaller more pathetic young girls worked up the nerve to approach me, I foolishly gave her about one dollar but my host angrily pushed her to the ground with his foot which angered me at the time. However, within 5 minutes, the larger stronger beggars beat her and took her dollar leaving her worse off than before.

My point is that that life in the Islamic Middle East is hard and more fortunate Muslims are indifferent, embarrassed and sometimes even hostile to less fortunate Muslims.
That is, I think, a reason that the more fortunate Muslims have not been very supportive or sympathetic to the "embarrassing" and impoverished Palestinian allies.

There are, of course, other reasons but those are the first that come to mind.

    Thanks,

    (1). "The McMahon Agreement"
    http://www.historylearningsite.co.u...ddle-east-1917-to-1973/the-mcmahon-agreement/

EXCERPT "The McMahon-Hussein Agreement of October 1915 was accepted by Palestinians as a promise by the British that after World War One, land previously held by the Turks would be returned to the Arab nationals who lived in that land. The McMahon-Hussein Agreement was to greatly complicate Middle East history and seemed to directly clash with the Balfour Declaration of 1917."CONTINUED

I remember news stories a few years BEFORE 911 asking the question why didn't the government force airlines to fortify airliner doors. They mentioned how easy they were to get through and made hijacking easy. If the government had done the easy and obvious thing of fortifying doors, 911 would never have happened. Instead they did nothing and the obvious attack happened and then they fortified the doors.... but they also did the patriot act and turned air travel into a nightmare for passengers. They used 911 to take power for themselves and remove fundamental freedoms from the people. They may not have known 911 was going to happen but they certainly knew terrorists at some point would hijack planes because of weak airline doors. I believe they purposely did not fortify doors because they were waiting for an attack so they could take freedom and take power. We are to quick to assign incompetency to actions when evil is the better explanation.

Great. Then you understand that Israel has no choice to but to end hamas. And you also understand that in order to do that civilians must die. And you also understand that civilian deaths will be maximized because hamas uses them as shields. Is all of this clear to you?

I believe that you are overthinking my question. I was simply asking why you think that Israel has so many restrictions on Palestinians.

Israel has the Palestinians in such a box because of their past and present bad behavior. There is no way that Israel could possibly trust them with anything. Deep down, I am sure that Israel wants nothing other than peace. They do not have a quest for land, they simply have a quest for a buffer that provides just a tiny margin more of safety from the terrorists among the Palestinians.

Personally, I have no empathy for the Palestinians because they have been murderous terrorists my entire lifetime. If you act like animals, people will think of you as animals.

First of all, why did you include the following paragraph in the quoted text that I did not write? (Post # 73)

"Personally, I have no empathy for the Palestinians because they have been murderous terrorists for my entire lifetime. There is no way that their murderous actions should be used to create sympathy for their plight. If you act like animals, I will think of you as animals."

What happened? I don't want anyone thinking I wrote that.

    --------------------

The Palestinians are not doing anything that any and every brutally occupied group of people would do and have done ......... they resist.

You act as if Palestine's native residents are the aggressors and the recently arrived Israeli occupiers are the victims when the only crime the Palestinians have committed is to resist the oldest and most ruthless foreign funded ethnic cleansing in modern history.

Would you meekly allow foreign "Settlers" to murder your family destroy your home and run you off of land your family owned for generations?

Then put that buffer zone on existing Israeli land instead of continually moving that buffer zone over more and more Palestinian land! That "buffer zone" is just an excuse to steal land
