He's a senator but doesn't seem to act like it. It will be interesting to see how Schumer responds to this, given the recent censure of Tlaib.
To be fair, O'Brien threatened Mullin on Twitter. Mullin was giving him the chance to put his money where is is instead of hiding behind a computer screen.
While that's true, the floor of a Senate hearing really isn't the place to do stuff like that. Mullin was WAY out of line.
It should have stayed on Twitter or outside of a Congressional hearing. He could have mentioned it to discredit him or to embarrass him. But, threatening violence is uncalled for on the floor.
More proof we just need to figuratively bomb Congress by voting every last one of them out in the next six years and start completely over. But, Americans love them some Jerry Springer. The clowns run the show, now. Red clowns to the left and blue jokers to the right... American people, stuck in the middle, re-electing these *******s at a 95% re-election rate. We have the government we ask for and deserve.
That was probably the only chance Mullin had to confront O'Brien face-to-face. I mean, if O'Brien is going to run his mouth, he better have the ass to back it up.
As a senator, he will have a lot of people saying stupid things and running their mouths to him. He can choose to ignore it. This isn't how you handle that.
Spare me. The 'leaders' in the Senate and House have been ass raping us dry for decades and some want to whine about decorum.
