It can get you shot if you attempt to enter an area where armed police tell you multiple times not to enter.
It can get you shot if you engage in a physical attack against armed police officers.

    I'm so confused.

When an unarmed black man does something that gets them killed by police the conservatives almost universally jump to the defense of the police
    But when it's a white woman....well that's a whole different story.

What is the population of Colorado? Who is to say what candidate will win the election in that state? We do now have proof that 4 judges have tried to rig the election by declaring one candidate ineligible. Without Gerrymandering you find many less minority candidates elected to office. Some areas do not have enough minorities in a district so sometimes swathes of areas are drawn up to give minorities an equal chance, (My opinion on gerrymandering was like yours at one time)

When it comes to voting, most states have early voting, drop of boxes and a time set to open and close on election day. If a person cannot find time to vote that is on them. Almost every one of the arguments for voter suppression are red herrings.

this goes back and forth. I heard that after watergate the GOP would never win the presidency again in my lifetime. I heard all sorts of nonsense after clinton won in 92. remind me what happened in 1980 and 1994

This is not a criminal case.

Your post reveals a profound misunderstanding of Constitutional, criminal and civil law.

Who tried to go full on lawfare over 2020 election results?
Of course with no evidence. But tried.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics filed the claim to remove Trump from the ballot
The same organization who filed in Trumps first day in office for the Emoluments clause

And all 7 judges were hand picked and instituted by Democrat governors.

The 91 judges, and the 3 in Colorado already know how the SCOTUS will rule and on what bases.

    1. The Constitution is loaded with legal wording which is why every time the 2nd is attacked, it gets shot down. Thats why the left gets accused of interpreting instead of following the constitution. They take the words of the constitution and try to apply other meanings.
    Example
(shall have engaged in) means convicted of and there are thousands of references why. The biggest is no judge can convict anyone of anything without a jury trial in the state where the act was charged. Since those other constitutional requirements exist, this dies before it even starts as the 4 judges claim Trump engaged in insurrection

    2. The 14th Amendment was enacted to protect post-war reforms in the South by barring members of Congress, state government officials, and military leaders who had sided with the Confederacy from holding office in the future

    3. Even if everything else is wrong (and its not) Trump was acquitted of insurrection. Which is why he can't be charged again.

IF the dems were not terrified of Trump and his ability to inspire support, they would face him with honesty in the process of election- allow the people, trust in the people- to do the right thing. But they don't trust the people, and the effort to deny the people the right to vote as they wish proves that, and reveals the total lack of conscience and morals that has become the stock moral condition of the left. They literally fear the people having that choice- and are willing to deny the people having that choice, by any means they can contrive, which clearly has no moral limits. With nothing else considered, that makes those behind such strategy unfit to be considered Americans in my opinion, and nobody with any self-respect and moral values would support them.

Since day one when Trump came into the political ring, that honest competition in positions which is the essence of the American electoral system has not happened. The left chose to rely on deceit, deception and lies- consistently. Now what people think they see- is a picture that is easily tainted in people who are ignorant, gullible, outraged,-- and most of all, lacking a solid moral compass, which lets them dismiss honor and self-respect for convenience- or possibly, because they lack those things, so there is nothing to lose by lowering the bar they couldn't meet anyway. The left has cultivated weakening the moral compass of our citizens with consistency- and unfortunately, significant success. Never in my life have I seen an organized group of people so eager to degrade their own morality as what is happening today. It's the biggest con job in history, and the most shameful.

The polls today say that Trump is, right now- the leading candidate over any candidate of any party, and that has been steadily growing despite all the tar and feathers the left has thrown at him. The election is one year away- they know that if he is on the ballot, they lose. The endless attacks, not to challenge his positions, but to attack his freedom, to avoid having to confront the political landslide behind him by any means possible- dominate their agenda. Imprison him Bananna Republic style, taint him with as many criminal allegations as possible, slander him for literally by adjusting the meaning of words to make normality evil..... and not for a moment see these acts as being anti-American, immoral, illegal, unjust, and- pathetic. These are the people you support; you make yourself one of them by choice. These people- lack the balls , the courage and morals to play fair.

One would think that looking at the trail of destruction that has been wrought by Biden they would step up to the plate and face it. They lack even that level of character. I've seen every level of human failure- and human success, of immorality and weakness, and incredible courage. But I've never seen immorality and weakness spread like a disease, infecting people to the point they can no longer see or think for themselves, or admit it to themselves.

The truth is that the presidency of Joe Biden came at a time when the nation was struggling with the elements of the pandemic, and that does depress the capacity of people. But at a time when the people needed a strong and courageous leader- we got a clown who has no conscious, and no competence at all. We needed the best- he gave us the worst. Or should I say that certain influences gave us the worst. I do not believe that the American people overall are so stupid as to not understand the contrast that was glaringly obvious in that election.

So today- with the left being in a state of panic and desperation, there's still no political discussion. They still rely on increasing the vendetta, of keeping control by not allowing the people any other option.
Personally, I consider that a form of treason, of betrayal of the fundamental values of our nation, the constitution, and the citizens. Trump continues to stand tall and proud, in the face of the ugliest political abuse in American history- and that really pisses off the left. They know they are losing; the handwriting is on the wall. It's getting brighter and bolder everyday. If it's not Trump, it will be someone who puts America first, who will call out stupidity and extremism, and restore some legitimacy to government. That's what the people want and deserve, and it is the people that our government owes service to.

I have never supported Trump. It would appear that the solution to using every trick to win an election is to use every trick to win an election. This abuse is why my vote will never go to someone with a D or an R by their name. The same people that take my guns are bible-beating the constitution as if they have a genuine concern.

Im sure California will also disenfranchise voters under the guise of "The constitution and Rule of Law"

All who entered the Capitol were all out to stop Congress from certifying the election results. Yes, that is insurrection. I don't care if you choose to call them rioters or not, they were there with a purpose, and many of them were quite explicit about it. And then you have these *******s:

Four Oath Keepers convicted of seditious conspiracy in Jan. 6 attack
The trial was the second to charge members of the extremist group with seditious conspiracy in the Capitol riot.
    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/ju...bers-convicted-seditious-conspiracy-rcna66622

As for the idiotic line about who had guns and was shooting, one rioter/insurrectionist was shot dead for ignoring warnings from the armed officer pointing the gun at her and climbing through a barricaded door after the glass was broken out, and at the head of a very large crowd. There is no disputing what happened there because it's on video.

    That's an opinion, your opinion.
That's not true. And, btw, a lower court Colorado Judged did find that tRaitor tRump engaged in insurrection.

    2. The 14th Amendment was enacted to protect post-war reforms in the South by barring members of Congress, state government officials, and military leaders who had sided with the Confederacy from holding office in the future[/quote]
And IS STILL part of the Constitution, to protect These United States from attack from within as happened on January 6th, 2021.
Wow, that the first time I've heard that from the right in a long, long time. Most everything from the right, since tRaitor tRump entered politics, EVEN while he was president, has been chicken little doom and gloom. But!
    No he wasn't!
IF he's ever found innocent of insurrection that would be true.

Section 3 is an administrative action, not a criminal sanction.

    Please learn the difference.

We saw it with our own eyes, it's all on video.

Neither is Trump under the 14 th Amendment. In 1872. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each house concurring therein), that all political disabilities imposed by the third section of the fourteenth article of amendments of the Constitution of the United States are hereby removed from all persons whomsoever, except Senators and Representatives of the thirty-sixth and thirty-seventh Congresses, officers in the judicial, military, and naval service of the United States, heads of departments, and foreign ministers of the United States.[6]

Trump didn't start an insurrection either; the Federal prosecutor Jack Smith investigated that, and determined no such charge was supported.

The people who took a peaceful demonstration with hundreds of thousands of participants and created an incident they could label an "insurrection", were the democrats and liberal sympathizers. Noit legitimate participants- but plants. That is not assumption, and aside from the physical proof, it's totally consistent with the demonstrated lack of conscience they've shown us over and over.

In the crowd, we have a substantial number of videos made of people who were agitators actually encouraging the crowd to enter the building. This would be "Inciting to riot", and that IS a crime.... but none of those identified have been charged with anything. The crowd was unarmed; hardly what would be the case if an insurrection had taken place.

The real picture does not support insurrection in any way. It does support a conspiracy to create an incident that could be used to destroy the influence of Trump... something that the left feels is the barrier to it's own objectives of total control, and something totally within their range of morality.

Musk said "It's easy to fool people- but nearly impossible to convince them they have been fooled." For the smaller minds and the weaker thinkers, this is consistently true, Once they buy in on deception, they can't bring themselves to accept they have been fooled, and will double down on bullshit over and over to avoid admitting it. The people responsible for that... is themselves. Life is full of mistakes, bad decisions and deceptions, and it's the job of every human being to learn to recognize and deal with them. Some- just won't.

Two judges have declared that it was. But, what do I know?
He told his base that 'dems stole the election', and on 1/6, whipped them up in a frenzy with 'stop the steal' as their mantra resulting in a juggernaut of rage. His actions led to the foreseeable result. This was beautifully expressed by McConnell

"Having that belief was a foreseeable consequence of the growing crescendo of false statements, conspiracy theories and reckless hyperbole which the defeated president kept shouting into the largest megaphone on planet Earth."

"This was an intensifying crescendo of conspiracy theories orchestrated by an outgoing president who seemed determined to either overturn the voters' decision or else torch our institutions on the way out,"

"There is no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day," " Mr. Trump watched the events unfold on television." "A mob was assaulting the Capitol in his name," he said. "These criminals were carrying his banners, hanging his flags and screaming their loyalty to him."

    --Senate Min. Leader McConnell
Section 3 is not a criminal sanction, no one's liberty will be lost as the result. Nothing that a person rightfully owns is being deprived of by the government. No one is being 'charged', therefore.
You are conflating section 3 with a criminal sanction. This is an error on your part.
FACTS will prevent, just as FACTS are the basis for Trump's removal.

What facts are those? That Trump's giving comfort to insurrectionists and his participation in insurrection has disqualified him.

There is no factual counterpart to that by Biden.

Now, of course., a right wing 6/3 SCOTUS might disagree.
No president in history has perfectly controlled the border. Complaints on border policy is a policy disagreement, and, as such, not impeachable. Moreover, this is not something one can use against a president regarding section 3
Does not apply to section 3, so, no.
No, we have videos of Trump on 1/6. Republicans have no videos of Biden 'participating in or giving aid to insurrectionists'. So, no.

Its entertaining how the left just decides what is and isn't constitutional.
Which is why they lose so (every time) they attack the 2nd.

    1. The word shall is a legal reference used in the constitution. Shall is an imperative command, usually indicating that certain actions are mandatory, and not permissive. This contrasts with the word “may,” which is generally used to indicate a permissive provision, ordinarily implying some degree of discretion. This isn't an opinion, its how legal scholars read the constitution.

    2. It also why the 3 dissenting judges stated the same thing. Without a conviction they have no authority to remove Trump from the ballot.
Which is base entirely on the wording of the 14th. Which is also why 91 other justices in 13 states refused to even touch it.

    3. Not sure how much you think you know about law but there is no found innocent. You are either guilty or not guilty. Trump was acquitted of insurrection in his 2nd impeachment.

    4. And the 14th is backed up with the 5th and other references all claiming the same thing. No judge or justice can convict anyone without a trial.

    5. The Sixth Amendment guarantees the rights of criminal defendants, including the right to a public trial without unnecessary delay, the right to a lawyer, the right to an impartial jury, and the right to know who your accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against you. So no, your Democrat judge can't declare Trump guilty of anything.

    6. And if your dream come true is some irrational random judge or justice can decide who is guilty of crimes and who can and can't be on ballots based on their claim of a crime, this would have been used thousands of times in the past and will in the future if its true.

Ah, but their electors in disqualified states will not be allowed at the 1/6 joint session if Trump is disqualified from any state's ballot. So they can have a 'private function' but their work product can never be 'public'.

    However,

It all depends on the SCOTUS ruling. If it is in favor of plaintiffs, Trump will not be allowed to become president even if he wins the caucuses and red states keep him on the ballot and he wins those states. If it is favor of Trump, the Colorado ruling becomes null and he will be on all ballots.
