I’m betting 99.9% certainty that Tipper is not a female….and probably has little idea of how they ‘work’…

Or what can put the menstrual cycle out of kilter. Let alone that a significant proportion of pregnant women have “spotting” in the first two terms of pregnancy. ( esp those with a bicornate uterus)

Just don’t get me started with ignorance on reproductive health.

Abortion affecting business? Huh? Oh, Texas abortion laws must affect the flavor of soup and make it harder to sell. And furniture.... the comfort of a sofa is definitely an abortion issue. And airline schedules are definitely affected by abortion laws. And the whole Texas sporting goods industry... sports... its all about abortion!!!

    LOLOL

It is not that businesses are fleeing the state, but they are no longer coming here either. Texas has lost its luster has being a hot bed for businesses to move to now that the GOP through state legislature is trying to dictate how businesses are run ranging from "DEI" to barred from state contracts if they are "boycotting Israel" to the employee benefits of sick pay if the employee is a woman who is having health care problems about a pregnacy. See the Cox case as a perfect example, among others. That's the problem. Yet, Texas has one of the most diversified energy grids in the world, is the leading US state in alternative/green energy, especially wind energy, in the United States. We do have our problems with the electric grid, namely, it is still not prepared for severe cold weather such as what happened in February 2021. But Texas is mostly a state of duality here. We have a large immigrant population, both legal and illegal. Illegals are not causing that many criminal problems in the state. That is internet hype. But we are a state that also loves our guns and will sell firearms to practically anyone, including illegals if they have the cash to pay for it. Our crime rates are not that bad compared to the top ten cities in the US with the worst crime rates. And yet, we have Republican legislatures that make anti-immigrant remarks from time to time, namely MEGA conservatives here who are a whole new breed of Republicans with their revenge factor. The Texas GOP is in the midst of a mini civil war because of the school voucher and the Ken Paxton impeachment trial.

Businesses really do want to do business, but don't want the government to tell them who they can do business to whether here or abroad. And that is why Texas is no longer #1 as the destination for businesses. We are currently #6 because of our infrastructure, education, and environmental concerns. We are #1 to access financial capital despite brick and mortar bank locations closing. But Texas has serious problems yet the GOP is dead set in playing its typical political games and scapegoating groups that the GOP does not like, or the GOP politicians that some leaders don't like.

It's no different than someone not wanting to move somewhere with strict gun laws. The amount of times that person may actually NEED a gun will be minimal, just like with a person who needs an abortion, but folks want to have the option should the time come when it's necessary. And you can't discount the effect that arbitrary laws made purely to make other people feel good has on people, it pisses them off. It makes that issue bigger for those people than it would have been if it had been left alone.

Look how many people lost their minds over a beer can or a chicken sandwich, neither of which have even the remotest effect on their lives.

    LoL

So you think Paris and New York are the poorest cities in the world because they cost a fortune to live in?

Have you ever talked to economists about your theory?

I drive the nail in even deeper.

The 5 poorest states (Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, West Virginia, Kentucky) would immediately fall into bankruptcy if it didn't receive subsidies from the rich states.... which are mostly blue.

So, the taxes paid by Liberals are used to economically support the poverty of Conservatives.

    Hurts, doesn't it?

Interesting. I had no idea that people even took into consideration what a state's abortion laws are. Are these women planning on getting pregnant so they can have an abortion?

Like I said earlier, Texas and other states going too far, are wrong. 15 weeks or Rape or danger to mother, no questions asked. Simple. But people claiming they CAN'T get abortions is absurd.

Its never about NEEDING a GUN. Its about the right to own one. Abortion is not written into the Constitution. Not even in the same ballpark. And If you actually think Bud Light was just about a beer can, you're not paying attention. Its about PUSHING twisted ideology on your consumers who don't care for it, using an extremely mentally ill human being as your representative. You probably think 4 year olds watching Dinosaur cartoons pushing 2 daddies is no big deal either, but Disney Jr. is doing it. Its screwed up.

Dodging questions are easier to do if you don’t bother to respond. Putting them in front of your face just to ignore them doesn’t make you look very good
