I already mentioned some: Things like Limited Government, Rule of Law, Peace through Strength, Fiscal Responsibility, Free Markets....Things that Trump Republicans don't much care about, but others like Haley do.

I agree with every single one of them, yet I am a liberal.

Problem with todays’ conservatism is that just because I am for “Rule of law” doesn’t mean when I see 15 million undocumented immigrants in USA, I hide behind “ rule of law” and keep demanding unrealistic solution like “ send them back , send them back , they broke the law”. We need to respect “Rule of law” and still find solution which works.

Just because I am support free market doesn’t mean a investment bank can sell CDO without regulation or a clothing company can go to Vietnam and use child labor.

I am for smaller government but that doesn’t mean I should deny climate change and eliminate EPA.

I am for fiscal responsibility , but that doesn’t mean I support cutting “Food stamp” program and ignore millions of American’s needs.

All of these conservative principle are great , but if they don’t help the society then they are useless.

Of course. Compromises need to be made, and a good leader will seek for ways to strike deals, and Nikki Haley does not come across as the "my way of the highway" type who won't compromise. Most Americans are not opposed to Conservative principles as long as they are applied in a reasonable matter, and remember that only 28% of voters are registered Dems.

As I recall only 27% are registered republicans.

Neither brand can win with only party loyalists.

The center is a COALITION of moderates with, at most, 10% genuine Independents, the rest LEAN one way of the other.

The Xtofascist controlled GOP has a problem appealing to the Leaners nearest them.

The Dems have a problem in that they are way too slow for the Progressives.

There was a rightward shift among the electorate back in the Naughties but the warmongering incompetence of the Bush/Cheney regime exposed the ugly side.

Obama becoming POTUS triggered the racist Xtofascists and they seized complete control over the GOP.

The subsequent orange fustercluck was inevitable.

The 2018, 2020 and 2022 electorates have said ENOUGH with the HATE agenda of the Xtofascist controlled GOP but no one there is capable of dealing with reality. Instead they keep on DOUBLING DOWN and that is the party that the power-brokers want Nikki Haley to lead out of the political wilderness. Surprised that none of them have suggested Spanker Johnson, AKA, Moses, to show them the way.

In order to win she needs THREE things to happen in her favor. She wins the Primary by a convincing majority, she can COALESCE the factions within the party BEHIND her and she has to beat Biden in the election.

That is a TRIFECTA that she has no hope of pulling off realistically IMO.

Its about 28-28 GOP vs Dems, and my point was that the Independents are the largest block, and they support Haley. Its too bad many States allow only registered voters to vote in primaries, because if everyone could vote, Trump could be in trouble.

An article that (more than ever) reinforces the reality that Haley has ZERO chance...

not sure the right would elect a woman, but it would be a feather in their cap over the left to elect the first woman President

Given the Xtofascist 2025 Manifesto she could also be the LAST person to ever be ELECTED as POTUS.

Who, in his/her, right mind would want to be Trumps VP after he sent a mob or fanatics to kill the 1st one (Pence)?

Probably 50% of his devotees would give their eye teeth to be his VP and most likely believe they're qualified too. lol

Haley will tell everyone as VP she'll keep him reigned in..blah,blah.

Nikki would take the Trump VP slut in a heartbeat when reality hits that she's not the nominee.
Assuming that Trump is the nominee and the US is still holding elections.

    1. Trump doesn't make it through 4 yrs and she becomes president.
    2. Trump somehow makes it through the 4 yrs then she runs in 2028.

That is probably why she won't say anything against him. Why ruffle the feathers , when he could be useful to her?? IF he is the nominee, and IF he would want a female as VP. )

'The only thing left to do': Anthropomorphic Lie campaign turns its fire on Nikki Haley to blunt her rise
Baboon Anus’s allies now see Haley — not Ron DeSantis — as the new person in second place.

    Jan. 4, 2024, 8:10 PM CST
By Allan Smith, Henry J. Gomez and Matt Dixon

Allies of former President Impotent Orangutan say his campaign’s decision to begin hammering Nikki Haley reflects a new dynamic in the Republican presidential race.

Haley, the former South Carolina governor, has overtaken Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for second place, they believe, and is emerging as the strongest challenger to Vanity Hair in the early nominating contests, which begin Jan. 15 in Iowa.

The new reality, a half-dozen Pond Scum campaign insiders and other aligned operatives said, is that Haley — not DeSantis, who has staked his campaign’s success on a strong Iowa showing — is positioned to finish second to Cheeto Benito there, perhaps elevating her in the following week’s New Hampshire primary, in which polls already show her in second place.

I did not. Been too busy watching my new favorite scambaiter play with Indian scammers.

It doesn't matter much to RINO primary voters how she does on a CNN town hall, I fear. Those people aren't big CNN viewers.

I didn't know the forum rules allowed that kind of editing of news stories.
