I'm assuming that you believe in the bible then, given what iThink you're attempting to state.

So you're a Christian since when?

I listened to MSNBC once when they tried to build up Obama's crummy economy. They said he had 10 million new jobs. He had the longest monthly growth than any President in history. They said people signing up for jobs were way down. Evey bit of that was true. What they failed to say was the jobs were so bad that people stopped signing up for jobs because they were so bad, they could make almost as much on welfare and not have to work. Look at my sources. Mostly far Left.

Recovery Has Created Far More Low-Wage Jobs Than Better-Paid ...

Apr 27, 2014 · Economy Recovery Has Created Far More Low-Wage Jobs Than Better-Paid Ones
How good were the 10.9 million jobs under Obama?
    Money.CNN.com/2016/11/04/news/economy/jobs-under-obama/...
Nov 03, 2016 · CNNMoney breaks down what kinds of jobs have been created and ... Almost all of the job gains under President Obama have been in so-called service jobs,

The deep recession wiped out primarily high-wage and middle-wage jobs. Yet the strongest employment growth during the sluggish recovery has been in low-wage work, at places like strip malls and fast-food restaurants.

In essence, the poor economy has replaced good jobs with bad ones. That is the conclusion of a new report from the National Employment Law Project, a research and advocacy group, analyzing employment trends four years into the recovery.

“Fast food is driving the bulk of the job growth at the low end — the job gains there are absolutely phenomenal,” said Michael Evangelist, the report’s author. “If this is the reality — if these jobs are here to stay and are going to be making up a considerable part of the economy — the question is, how do we make them better?”

The report shows that total employment has finally surpassed its pre-recession level. “The good news is we’re back to zero,” Mr. Evangelist said.

But job losses and gains have been skewed. Higher-wage industries — like accounting and legal work — shed 3.6 million positions during the recession and have added only 2.6 million positions during the recovery. But lower-wage industries lost two million jobs, then added 3.8 million.

    77 percent of 2013 jobs were part-time positions ...
    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/aug/2/part-timer-nation...
Aug 02, 2013 · Fully 77 percent of positions added to the market in 2013 have been part-time, in contrast to the positive economic news making the media rounds, according to payroll reports released in recent weeks.
"There are now 1.2 million fewer jobs in mid- and higher-wage industries than there were before the Great Recession, according to data from the National Employment Law Project. In contrast, there are 2.3 million more jobs in lower-wage sectors than before the recession," according to CNBC. Nor is there the hoped-for renaissance in American manufacturing. We have some 300,000 fewer manufacturing jobs since President Barack Obama took office and 1.5 million jobs below the pre-recession level.

Using Keiser Family Foundation (KFF) as a determination of the popularity for Obamacare is like getting Hershey to grade candy popularity. KFF was founded by the same person that founded Kaiser Permanente managed care. Even though they claim to be separate groups, but they have a common vested interests in Obamacare. Further, the mass media has tried to hide the fact that the SCOTUS has ruled that much of Obamacare unconstitutional to the point that it really does not actually does not exist anymore. The SCOTUS ruled that the bailout of the insurance companies that took on new subscribers was not budget by Congress, and therefore illegal. Because the insurance companies weren't getting bailed out, many pulled out of the exchanges. Many states were left without Affordable Care Providers. So, the SCOTUS ruled that taxing those without insurance providers was unconstitutional. So, you can now claim a tax break for having an Affordable Care plan, but you cannot be fined for not having one. This is why Pelosi claimed that they have to pass it to find out what was in it. Obama and the DNC knew that the Affordable Care Act was on legally shaky grounds.

You made a comment, on another post, that individuals opinions are not to be trusted unless they agree with polls. You posted a Gallop Poll to support your opinion, but you failed to realize that Polls are based on individual opinions, and polls do not always agree. Such as Statista that ranked Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson, and James Buchanan worse the President Trump. Or YouGov that ranked Trump 25 out of 41 former presidents.

We have had this conversation before. Your claiming that Jews are of African descent and not Arab. You also have claimed that the Nation of Israel is on the African Continent. Both claims have been proven false. You need to move on!!!

. In the past, the pilgrims came to America to escape religious persecution and yet they hunted down those who they thought were witches or warlocks and put them to death. White America declared its independence from Great Britain who had brought the practice of indentured servitude and slavery to the colonies along with the Spanish. The same white devils who drove the Indians off their lands and put them on reservations. The blacks in America at the time were split between freemen and indentured servants or slaves. Whites and blacks and other minorities like the Chinese lived in segregated neighborhoods. Almost all women were not allowed to vote, hold office, or have only certain jobs. Chattel slavery? Very few children were educated past the elementary grades. Universities were for the elites. The young worked the farms and sent off to war when called upon. Oh! happy days that must have been during the civil war when thousands lost their lives or were crippled. The Industrial Revolution was good for America, really good for white workers but not so great for minorities who worked for cheaper wages but still went home to their own segregated neighborhoods. WWI had separate fighting units based on color. Neighborhoods, schools, business, churches were all separated. In 1920 women were granted the right to vote. WWII came along and the services integrated minorities but only to the extent of laundrymen, cooks, and officer attendants. In the 60's, civil rights, segregation of schools, business and housing ended. Amazing that rights were given to people who already had those rights given to them by GOD and the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Really? Have you traveled around America lately? Here it is 2024. So what was accomplished? The Government became the Daddy and handed out fiat to those who became generational beholders on welfare. The family unit was now secondary. The schools have become mainly segregated again as families moved back to their old neighborhoods or others moved away to live among their own kind. Sort of a tribal thing. All groups coming to America gravitated towards people like themselves. So now we have segregated neighborhoods, business, churches, and schools. The government keeps lowering the bar for educational advancement and in some cases, no-one is allowed to fail. We still have business hiring unskilled or illegal workers at a lower wage than it's own citizens. Todays generation cannot afford to live at the same standard as their parents to the point housing is being built at a third of the size of the small track homes of the 50's. I could go on and on but I have been too long already.

Natty Bumpo, as you noticed none of that is my personal opinion. It's not what the Democrats and bias news say, it's what they leave out. Only telling you half the story and when you hear it all, it's nothing like what they want you to believe. They do it constantly.

Sorry for getting too personal. It’s a serious question admittedly poorly asked. I would like to know where people get their information on immigration. These threads are full of misinformation from both sides of the political spectrum. And information that is accurate is so easy to find if one is interested.

It’s concerning both sides are going to cast ballots based on complete misunderstanding of the issue. I’m thankful I don’t have to back up a team on the issue. That would be rough as both are extremist positions based on misinformation and apparently disinformation from somewhere.

I would reiterate what we are doing isn’t working and doubling down on what isn’t working isn’t wise in my opinion. I could be wrong, but at least I’m basing my position on verifiable facts.

We do have "underlying wealth creation," but too much of our individual capital spending is on dead assets like houses and motor vehicles.
We have to trade to get the raw materials we require.

    Funny....

Most people I know think 2016 was the lowest America had ever gone. I'm one of them.

Ho many criminals did Trump pardon on his way OUT? Coward wouldn't when he thought he'd have to answer for it.

Look up Conrad Black....the former House of Lords Member who should still be in prison.

    No, America peaked in 1944.....

Tucker Carlson wasn't fired for lying about the voting machines. He was fired for his private E-mails concerning the talk about them. He didn't believe they were compromised, but felt he had a duty to put those people representing Trump that said they were compromised on the air. Carlson believed just the opposite in private..

The tobacco cartels were doing marvelously in the U.S. 1944 and for decades afterwards. So was cancer.

I understand why Obama was re-elected with over 50% of the vote in 2012, and why Trump was dumped with 46.8% in 2020, having received 46.1% in 2016.

I can't argue with the certified expression of the People's will.

By the end of his second and final term on January 20, 2017, United States President Barack Obama had exercised his constitutional power to grant the executive clemency—that is, "pardon, commutation of sentence, remission of fine or restitution, and reprieve"[1]—to 1,927 individuals convicted of federal crimes. Of the acts of clemency, 1,715 were commutations (including 504 life sentences) and 212 were pardons.[2][3] Most individuals granted executive clemency by Obama had been convicted on drug charges,[4] and had received lengthy and sometimes mandatory sentences at the height of the war on drugs.[5]

Obama holds the record for the largest single-day use of the clemency power, granting 330 commutations on January 19, 2017, his last full day in office.[6][7] He also issued more commutations than the past 13 presidents combined.[2][8]

The following is a list of people pardoned by Bill Clinton.[1] As president, Clinton used his power under the U.S. Constitution to grant pardons and clemency to 456 people, thus commuting the sentences of those already convicted of a crime, and obviating a trial for those not yet convicted. On January 20, 2001, he pardoned 140 people in the final hours of his presidency.[2]

Trump issued a total of 143 pardons during his four years in office: one in 2017, six in 2018, eight in 2019, twelve in 2020, and 116 in January 2021. N/A – Arpaio's pardon was issued after his conviction, but prior to his being sentenced.

You may be confusing debt based “wealth” creation with actual wealth based on physical goods derived from natural resources.

You also confuse “having” to trade with “choosing” to trade. We lack very few raw materials. It’s just cheaper to get them from places that use slave labor to extract them.

No, I never said that "individuals opinions are not to be trusted unless they agree with the polls." That would be silly.

Was the Affordable Care Act always as popular as it became after Americans had experience with it for years? Certainly not.

When I cite polls, I invite those who disagree with them to cite conflicting polls if there are any.
