Why start a war when it looks like America will smash NATO & remove any serious impediment to doing what you want? With Trump in power it looked like he could get what he wanted without much of a fight. When to was clear that wasn't going to happen he tried a 'shock and awe' campaign that would get him what he wanted too quickly for anyone to oppose it. Didn't work.

Under Biden NATO is stronger than it has been for decades and it gets stronger by the day.

Right now Putin knows his best chance of winning is for Trump to win & withdraw support for Ukraine....because that is what Trump and at least half the GOP says will happen and that is what the yare trying to do in Congress. Given Trump's hostility to NATO he probably figures there is a good chance Trump will pull America out.

He can smell weakness and will take advantage of it. A vote for Trump is a vote for Putin.

Zelenski did absolutely nothing, so how is that being easily manipulated? Now, iusing US taxpaoyer dollars to nfluence the Ukrainian government is absolutely manipulating Ukraine. Exactly what Biden did.

Now you have other foreign governments telling Putin "NATO troops will be on the ground in Ukraine" is just another provocation. Almost like them taunting Russia to be more aggressive! Heck... NATO has already spilled the beans that NATO troops are already in Ukraine firing missiles at Russian targets and it's now been divulged that the CIA has at least 12 covert bases assisting Ukraine. Your TDS is really narrowing your view of what is really taking place in Ukraine!

 

FYI, North Korea still has nuclear weapons and is still pursuing more. I guess those facts in RW world does matter.
