It's hard to imagine someone so cute being responsible for so many deaths, but the parallels with Madeline Albright are too obvious to miss.

Victoria Nuland to depart announced 2024 Mar 06.png

That Nuland is out of favor could mean the decision to destabilize Ukraine is now
seen as a bad one, and maybe in a month or two peace will be on the way -
if there's another war coming along for the weapons makers to make money off.

The chain of command for the Maidan Revolution of Feb 2014 was VP Biden
overall in charge with Victoria Nuland Assistant Secretary of State for European
and Eurasian affairs as point person in charge of operations.

The coup was basically successful as the elected government of Ukraine was
replaced though the President was not in the motorcade stopped by gunmen
outside Kyiv - he had escaped by helicopter.

Pres. Obama was unwilling to supply Ukraine with the weapons to stop
the breakaway republics of Donbass, Crimea and a couple of others.

It wasn't until the Biden Administration got in and a large shipment of
weapons (code name 'aid') arrived at the front lines that the heavy
bombardment of Donetsk started on Feb 19th, and Russia finally made
good on the promise of military intervention on Feb 24th.

Russia invaded because the people tossed out the Russian puppet who was in charge. You sound like Putin when he blames Poland for the Nazis invading.

Good riddance. I hope she enjoys her cushy milti-million dollar tit-for-tat job with Boeing or Lockheed.

She's earned it, the war brought in something like 100 Billion dollars in revenue for the weapons makers.

The theory is that she will now be more free to sow international chaos while our political establishment can claim plausible deniability.

Her family lineage are Trotsky-ites, ousted from Communist Russia by the Stalinists. She has an axe to grind with the Russians, and now she can grind it outside of the scrutinous eye of the 'deplorable' anti-war Americans. Rest assured, she isn't finished crusading. She just isn't doing it 'officiallly' anymore. And I dunno if thats better or worse.

These forums are now full of Russian trolls, just as right wing social media is.

They’ve got an audience that once worshipped Joe McCarty for being a Communist “fighter” into a cheerleading squad for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, and his territorial and political ambitions in Eastern Europe.

Why would you include an obvious lie in the title of the thread?
Are you desperate to cause outrage?

As to her leaving, I don't think it will make much of a difference in the conflict. Seems like a bit of a non-starter.

Russia, Russia, Russia.... Yes, in fact, it was Russia (to be precise, Putin, since there are many Russians who don't want this either), who started this war, not the US State Department.

Of course, like clockwork, the resident America haters blame the US government first, instead of looking at the REAL culprit. Putin's propaganda really works, and the ones who are highly susceptible to it are probably fully unaware.

You are fully correct in the there are many who are highly susceptible to propaganda and unaware of it.... However, it's those pointing the finger that aren't realizing that three fingers are pointing right back at them that are the new McCarthy's. To think that the US has not interfered in other countries elections or initiated coupes is beyond naive. The US are the perfectionist when it comes to creating chaos in other countries. As great as our nation is, which IS vastly better than many countries on this planet, the inner workings of our government has a dark, dark history.

Your lack of actual knowledge of the events of the region do seem to discount your credibility here. Look back a ways, and it was the Obama folks and ms Nuland who sowed the seeds of the current war. Why ignore the facts, unless your intent is to whitewash for them?

    “Red Scare”?

So, you’re trying to pretend that Russia didn’t invade Ukraine? Or, that Putin did not announce his intentions to ring the Iron Curtain back down?

or that he keeps threatening nuclear war”?

So you’re trying to glibly write all this off by playing the “red scare” card.

Your hypocracy is astounding. Unless, of course, if you’re a Russian troll.

    Those are the facts.

Russian trolls and Trump media are trying to feed you a Kremlin based alternative reality. One which you are all too willing to buy into.

Thus. Trump nation betrays the United States, and repudiates what this country stands for, as well as our role as world leaders.

Trump wants to retreat back to the age of isolationism. His mid western and southern base wants it too. Those regions were the hotbeds of isolationism a century ago. Nothing has changed.

The main reasons Trump wants to retreat from the world are two fold.

The Russians own him, and having him retreat from leadership in the Western world is a core foreign policy goal for the Kremlin. Without US leadership to bolster NATO and the EU, Putin will strive ahead and ring the Iron Curtain back down.

With Trump leading the cheering squad, under the Kremlin’s orders.

The other reason is that Trump is afraid of the responsibility of world leadership.

We have already seen that he is hopelessly incompetent as a leader in a crisis.

He’s afraid of both responsibility or accountability.

You better watch some more Tucker interviews with Putin. Maybe you'll get some "actual knowledge" from there.

I never once denied Russia invaded Ukraine nor have I justified the invasion. I have claimed that Russia's invasion was in reaction to US interference and armament of that nation. You as well as everyone knows that the US played a significant role in the overthrow of the democratically elected government and the installation of a US friendly government. The same blue print was attempted in 2020-2021 in Belarus that never gained any momentum.

FFS... USSR and or Russia have been threatening nuclear war since before the cold war ever even started... Did you forget the Cuban Missile crisis or the Russo-Georgain war and the Poland missile shield? There has been about 35 threats Nuclear retaliation since Putin has been in office. Did you also forget the US strategy of First Strike?

It's amusing to me that you say I'm playing the "red scare" card, yet at every turn that opposes or do not tow the Democrat narrative , it's Russia, Russia, Russia. You literally are showing your "red Scare" card with each post!

    Trump → Russian tool
    Tulsi Gabbard → Russian asset
Jill Stein → Another Russian asset... and won't even go down the Sanders path
    Anti-vaccine propaganda → Russian propaganda
Wikileaks → Weaponized Russian platform to influence elections
DNC email leak → The Intercept Reporters "witting Kremlin weapons"

lol…no, Russians will be Russians and connive to advance their own interests, just like all nations do.
We blame trump for being a quisling and betraying our country and its institutions to pander to foreign powers.

This forum has some interesting people on it, and a lot who just repeat
what they heard on the news.

Repeating what is on the news requires a reasonable level of English
comprehension, and is itself a bit of mental exercise, enough to avoid
    dementia, or obvious dementia.

But the news is just advertising for it's owners, largely the weapons
    makers.

Try this, tell the US public to pay 61 billion dollars for weapons to kill
Ukrainians and Russians. They are likely to say 'No'.

Now put in the news someone talking about them taking babies out
of incubators and killing them, then you get a lot of 'Yes' s.

    That's the power of advertising.

It’s harder to imagine you posting something that isn’t lying Russian propaganda.
The internet is awash with lying Russian propaganda designed to breed hatred between Americans.
