Trump has and is "ruining" himself. His conduct has been despicable.

It also has NOTHING to do with "hating" trump. He is not worth that kind of energy. It is about everyone, including HIM being accountable for his behavior. His followers/ supporters want him to be treated in an exceptional way , and avoid any legal consequences of his conduct. Is this a reflection of their own values now?? His values are not the Republican values of conservativism. In reality, he has NO values....except those that focus on HIM and HIS objectives He makes his own rules and that is antisocial behavior. For some reason his supporters like that.

Then Trump should have been charged by the “feds”. This actually proves that the Federal government is being more lenient to him than it should

The Feds have already said Trump didn't violate any campaign finance laws. So, it would be kinda hard to charge him...lol

This has to do with upholding the law. Ruining Trump is just icing. No one is above the law.

State campaign finance laws don't apply to Federal elections. So, what law is being "upheld"?

Read the indictment. Just like with the civil fraud case the Orange Stain lost, it's all in the indictment.

His avid supporters seem to think that Trump IS above the law. ( in fact , the law does not even apply to him... in their view. They give him a LOT lof latitude for behaving badly )

Because a Presidential election IS a state election.

Your votes are not cast for Donald Trump, but are cast to decide which ELECTORS will represent your state when the electoral votes are cast.

A presidential election is Federal. State laws don't apply to campaigns running for Federal office.

I've read the indictment. He's be charged with violating state law, while running for Federal office.

You sound as if you didn't know that.

And you seem to think you know the law better than the prosecutor. And if you did read the indictment , which I now doubt, you would know that the core of the charges are falsifying business records.

Something that , coincidentally, he has a recent history of getting caught at to the tune of $455 million.

There is no such thing as a "Federal Election". All elections are run by the state.

For which the Biden campaign should hammer him from now to November:

Look at the Orange coward who knows he’s guilty and is trying to escape justice by delaying his trial until he’s a vegetable !!!

If he loses the election will he plead not guilty by reason of mental defect ?

Campaign finance laws are run by the Feds. It's called the "Federal Elections Commission", the FEC. It's glaringly obvious that you didn't know that

The prosecution's argument is that Trump violated Federal elections law, hence he violated state law.

The only problem is, Trump not only hasn't been sanctioned for violating Federal elections law, but the FEC has stated that he didn't violate Federal elections law.

You don't have the first ****ing clue what this trial is about. Do you?...lol

Certainly it will make him more popular with the MAGA crowd and the likes of you, but you know what ?

You and your MAGA buddies aren't a majority and there are enough old guard Republicans who will never vote for the Orange Rapist.

That doesn't mean his conduct has been illegal, though. You prove, yet again, that you people only want Trump prosecuted because you hate him, not because you want the law upheld.

It'll make him popular with people that didn't like him, before. Great job...lol
