Southwest suburban man charged with firing gun during January 6 US Capitol insurrection

I want to clarify that I don't necessarily want a long prison sentence for the guy. However, Christopher Alberts got 7 years. Others got long prison sentences as well. The claim is that John was a Fed informant. If he also gets a long prison sentence like the other rioter, the Fed informant claim will be debunked unless a lot more evidence comes out. If he gets something like probation with time served, I'll be very suspicious that there may be something to the claims.

 

Interesting that the supposition was that he was a plant, and as noted, it will be instructive on what the sentencing, or plea look like.

 

Let me point out that Summit, IL is only 17 minutes outside of Chicago.

That doesn't prove anything, of course, but does seem to immediately raise some question whether this man is really a Republican.

Summit seems to be a high-density suburban neighborhood, like something that would be found not too far from an urban core. Homes with small lot sizes and many apartment buildings.

 

I don't care what he is politically. I'm more interested to see if he was a government informant.
