Lots of reasons. Everything from that's just SOP to making it past election day. Once the election is over, all these trials go away, even if Trump loses.

True on some cases - sounds like a good reason for Americans who believe in justice to NOT vote for him.

These cases don't have anything to do with "justice" and you know it...lol

"I know it"? So you know exactly what's inside my head? lol !!!! All legal have to do with justice. If Trump is innocent, his lawyers can prove that in court, and should be eager to do so. Instead, they are delaying trial after trial.

Why would you want to delay when you are innocent?

You are paying lawyers the longer the trial goes on. Since its not Trump's money, he probably doesn't care though.

He shouldn't, but going along your same applied rules, Trump would be in solitary confinement. Trump even told some of those secrets to foreigners. !!!!

    https://thehill.com/regulation/cour...iscussion-with-australian-billionaire-report/
The billionaire then passed the classified information on to others, who reported the disclosures to federal special counsel Jack Smith, according to reports.

This isn't and should never be a political issue !!!

Ask Hur, as it was he who found, after investigation, that there is insufficient evidence to secure a conviction against Biden. I suspect you are into apples/oranges.

Why would I "know" this? Trump blatantly broke our National Security Laws. When confronted, he lied. When approached, he tried to conceal evidence. When approached again, he tried to destroy security footage. Sorry to burst your bubble, but these are National Security violations.

I truly believe that the DOJ never wanted to get involved in this case. The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) turned the case over to the DOJ, after they could not get Trump to comply.

I can do that, and if I do and it proves my point, will you acknowledge it, admit you are wrong, or will I be wasting my time?

There are 37 Federal Charges. Here are the first three mentioned. Defense documents are considered "national security" documents. There are other charges such as "false statements". As mentioned earlier, I don't the Justice Department wanted to get involved in this case, but the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) turned it over to them when Trump wouldn't comply.

    https://www.npr.org/2023/06/09/1181340894/trump-indictment-classified-documents-charges
    • Willful retention of national defense information: This charge, covering counts 1-31, only applies to Trump and is for allegedly storing 31 such documents at Mar-a-Lago.
    • Conspiracy to obstruct justice: Trump and Nauta, along with others, are charged with conspiring to keep those documents from the grand jury.
    • Withholding a document or a record: Trump and Nauta are accused of misleading one of their attorneys by moving boxes of classified documents so the attorney could not find or introduce them to the grand jury.
    • ..........
