Yes, I was paid by Sasquatch in leprechaun gold to help them. Meanwhile, maybe learn how tariffs work. They won't help us against China. They will hurt us. Meanwhile, if your buddy Trump hadn't idiotically pulled out of a massive trade deal that would have helped us crush China (Chinese were celebrating in their offices on that day, by the way), we'd have a much better shot.

You are voting for a guy who ACTUALLY helped the CCP in their "global domination" while pretending that tariffs will help because you, like Trump, haven't the faintest idea how they work.

The guy who is signed on with the Chinese Communist Party is Biden. Trump negotiated a trade agreement which Buden did not enforce. Biden did however keep the Trmp tariffs.

Why don’t you explain how the Trump tariff on Chinese goods harms us? And while you are at it please explain how pulling out of the massive trade deal and negotiating a specific US - CCP trade deal has harmed the US. Maybe you could comment on fentanyl as well.

A right wing bloodbath is better than a healthy economy?

    You should listen to yourself.

Well it's to prevent a bloodbath. There will be a bloodbath if he doesn't get elected so that means economic problems.

What’s your definition of an economic bloodbath?

So you want the right wing civil war fantasy to come true.

    Elect Trump or else?

Sorry, but a man who lives by bullying and threats is not my kind of guy. Especially when he’s arrogant, stupid, disloyal and dishonest.

You still didn’t answer my question. Why did President Trump gave speech on January 6 ? What was the purpose of his support from around the country to come to DC?

The same one every intelligent educated person understands? A bad economic result.

    1
    : a great slaughter
    2
: a notably fierce, violent, or destructive contest or struggle. the campaign has become a bloodbath

    b : a major economic disaster
    a market bloodbath

It’s quite obvious which definition he was using because he was VERY specifically talking about the economy of the auto industry before and after the use of the term. Anyone saying otherwise is either purposely being stupid and trolling or simply unintelligent and lacks comprehension skills.

I was wondering why this thread hadn't been taken down for the obvious mischaracterization and propaganda of the OP. Trump Didn't say the words in the OP Title. MODS, why is this still allowed without edit?

Well, they need to figure out how to be more competitive. Its not the government's duty to tell people which cars they can buy, and not buy, or where US manufacturers build their cars. Government meddling only makes things worse.

    Trump's EXACT Words:
Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath, for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country.

It’s the government’s duty and job to protect American workers from the unfair trade policies of the Chinese Communist Party.

That's the Big Brother Government mindset, - and even the Chinese mindset.

Government's duty is to protect free markets. It's up to the corporations to find ways to be competitive. They can do it by either reducing cost, or improving quality, or by whatever other means they can think of. Unleash the creative minds and they will find the ways. Government involvement only restrains them.

What the Chinese Communist Party is doing is not “free market”. They are manipulating the market to cause harm to the American economy and American workers.

Did someone say it was? I want US to maintain free markets while you seem to favor the Chinese model where the government is more involved.

Yes. I get it. You want the government to "protect" you.

I want the government out of the way. Opposite mindsets.

Your message is clear: "I am from the government and I am here to help". Maybe you defend the idea only because your political leader (DT) is pushing that agenda. Who knows.

    Have a nice day.

Another reading fail, but keep pretending that Trump, who defended Russia's invasion and openly admits that his plan is to give Russia part of Ukraine, was somehow an intimidation factor. But, hey, we both know why you couldn't address what I actually said and are so desperate to hide from the actual topic. Any other pathetic evasions or was that the bottom of the barrel?

"I think those who see Trump as a singular threat to democracy, norms, decency, and so on have some good arguments and evidence to back up their convictions. But if that’s what journalists believe, they have all the more reason not to indulge themselves by making the media the story. It may seem counterintuitive, but members of the Trump-hating press would help their own cause by being more restrained in their coverage. (And while I could make an idealistic case for more responsible reporting, I suspect appealing to the media’s more cynical impulse to advance their personal beliefs has more power.)

Trump actually benefits enormously from media overreaction to his irresponsible rhetoric. The people who instantly believe reports that Trump was threatening carnage have already decided to vote against him (or in some cases for him). Those aren’t the people who can still be persuaded one way or the other—the people who will decide the election."
LOS ANGELES TIMES/ THE DISPATCH, Stop Making a Martyr of Donald Trump, He benefits enormously from media overreaction to his irresponsible rhetoric., By Jonah Goldberg, Mar 20, 2024.
    https://thedispatch.com/article/stop-making-a-martyr-of-donald-trump/

    https://www.latimes.com/opinion/sto...-2024-biden-auto-industry-ohio-jonah-goldberg

Which begs the question: Have the RP/DP strategists "opposing" Trump all been bought off? ;-)
