    That's right.
Deportation cases were dropped against approximately 200,000 migrants because the Department of Homeland Security under President Joe Biden failed to file thousands of notices to appear before their court dates, leaving immigration courts with no jurisdiction.

Joe's record is still intact. Haven't got anything done right yet.

    See the story- https://www.newsmax.com/us/migrant-dhs-asylum/2024/03/21/id/1158069/

    Interesting stat:
The cases that have been dismissed because NTAs were not filed jumped after President Joe Biden took office, climbing from 6,482 in 2020 to 33,802 in 2021.
Further, in Biden's first three years in office:

      • 8.4% of deportation cases were dismissed because NTAs were not filed with the courts, while between 2014 and 2020, less than 1% of cases were dismissed for that reason.
      • __________
    • Well, at the very least:
    • Lets hope thet all move to SwIng States and vote for Biden...

a 5 second google search gave a wall of different sources to choose from. So it looks like the only thing anyone has fallen for is you with your own knee jerk political emotionalism.

So what now? You gonna put in some effort at this point more than absolutely none at all?

I wouldn't call it fake news, a quick check shows something happened, but with newsmax, their editorials don't always match reality.

Perhaps if there were enough judges and other necessary processing staff at the border. Oh, if only a bill would be produced to staff them up and eliminate this problem. Oh, wait...

many years go i had a great deal of time on my hands. i had long commutes to and from various job sites and grew tired of listening to music or the hum of the highway. so i started to listen to rush, just to see what the enemy was up to. yes, the enemy. like you, i "knew" that every word out of his mouth was a lie and my righteous indignation was fully prepared to be unleashed. like you, i had consumed far too much of the kool-ade and was firmly convinced of my moral superiority. what i discovered was something entirely unexpected. though his "opinions" were often emotional hogwash, they were usually based on solid information. he wasn't simply making it up as he went along, he was using the facts to support his world view. this revelation didn't alter my world view, but it did open me up to other possibilities.

well, the "news" has changed since those days. hard news outlets have taken a page from rush's handbook and they are all basing their programming on what will sell best to their chosen listener/watcher base. fudging numbers, editing statements and only reporting those stories that support their ideological bent have all become commonplace. you want to get your "news" from msnbc and mother jones... fine, but don't go looking down your nose at sources who's ideologies don't match your own. don't claim that everyone else has nothing to say. they all lie, edit and obfuscate in order to satisfy their base. those who can't or simply won't be bothered to double or even triple check the information that is handed to them should probably just climb back underneath their rocks and leave the running of our society to the open-minded and engaged.

Ok, so you caught me on a day when I didn't feel motivated to do the research.

I went with the percentages: newsmax material is usually so fatally flawed and slanted that calling it "fake news" is almost always a sure bet.

Accidents happen. Meanwhile, Biden continues forgiving student loan debt in the face of the Supreme Court ruling.

Looks like another reason we need border funding, more agents and more judges.

Wasn’t there a bipartisan bill that would have done just that but was just defeated because an impeached ex-president didn’t want it helping his opponent?

If they hadn't been allowed to come in without permission in the first place, we wouldn't be needing to deport them, would we?

The system is in chaos, it's like brush fires everywhere, and priorities are all messed up. However- like saving a company in crisis, or anything else, there must be a plan- and the first thing to do is stop the chaos. Close the border. Get the controls and process revised quickly. Open to normal processing. Absolutely stop allowing illegal activity to bypass the laws of legal entry.
If it were injured people at an accident- first priority, stop the bleeding so you can pay attention to the remaining demands.

You can't do that with the circus going on in government. We can have different parties and ideas- but the goal of destroying the other has to end, because the purpose of both, IF THEY WILL DO THEIR JOB, is to make America work well. That's the common ground and first obligation- and until that is put above the cheap shots and squabbles, they won't get anything done right.

It’s the usual Biden puppet administration planned failure. The Biden puppet administration has no intention of ever defending our border. They have no interest in defending our border. They are counting on the stupidity of the American people to ignore the facts and vote for “the party that specializes in handouts.”

The Biden puppet says, “I’m forgiving you student loan. You can have an abortion whenever you want it. l’ll get the Federal Government to pay for it next. Now vote for me.”

No, the bill wasn't bipartisan. There are 49 republican senators and you're saying that at least one of them voted for the bill, yet the bill only had 49 senators vote for it. That means there was bipartisan support against it.

A bipartisian bill can have bipartisan opposition

This bill was better than the alternative which is what we have now — nothing.

Before Biden we had something. But like you said, now we have nothing thanks to Biden and the flow of illegals isn't slowing down.

Courts actually struck much of it down because laws were made through executive orders and not through congress. But sure, blame Biden for congress not doing its job.

If it were a stand-alone bill, it would pass. As you know, it's not a stand-alone bill. Instead it's attached to our lust to fighting for democracy for a non-US State, as the government yearns for the same success the French had in helping our revolution.

the problem with that bill is it also 'limited' immigration to DOUBLE what our current average is.

People want less immigrants. The bill allowed MORE. It was a bad 'immigration' bill.

No; it was a sad face, because I knew many fools would read and fail to have a clue as to it;s relevance.
