Trump Claims He’s Scraped Together Almost $500M ‘IN CASH’ as Fraud Bond Deadline Looms

I think you guys are forgetting something: Trump has already lied about this specific thing, in this specific case before. During deposition, he said he had well over 400 million in cash ready to go. Then, suddenly, when it came time to pay up, he didn't have the cash. Now that he is butt hurt about the optics, he's saying he has the cash again. We'll see if he's telling the truth this time.

What I think he's actually referring to is the upcoming Truth Social deal. He'll have the cash if the deal goes through and the stock doesn't completely tank in the next few months. But he can't actually sell the stock (which, of course, isn't actually cash, but details like that are lost on Trump) for several months. Still, it might be enough to get someone to spot him for the bond.

 

I'm still trying to think of any business entity he runs that hasn't either failed or been proven fraudulent. But there is no reasoning with someone who thinks Trump is "self-made." But I'm sure that this excuse works very well for you when people criticize him and you can't bring yourself to look at him critically.

 

You could have simplified it with, "The leftwing call to facism" thwarted.. Down but not out, the DNC party will huddle up and target Trump once again..

trump failed to meet even the average stock market returns — a failure in the business world. Had he just taken his inheritance and placed in it the market he would have more money than he does now.

Instead his family spends their time defrauding cancer charities, making fake schools to steal from students, bankrupting vendors, paying off prostitutes and grifting his supporters.

Like I said — we have different definitions of the word success. Some think money is the only goal by any means necessary.

The math was correct, the statement a major error.
What I was calculating was the amount he inherited to the amount worth of late.
Trump's inheritance at one time to what his worth is today. In other words, he inherited about 13.3% of what he is worth according to Forbes.
My point is that is isn't that impressive compared to other people of wealth. For example, Paris Hilton's ratio is about 8-9%, so she has done more with the money than Trump.
There are many variances, but my point is that Trump isn't this genius business man. Nor is he a financial "legend".

 

Forbes calculates that trump would be richer if he had simply invested his daddy’s money and not tried to do actual business deals that ended in so many bankruptcies.

 

I think that trump supporters have been reduced to comic relief.
Their denials of reality are as unhinged as trump’s claims.
They have nothing left to run on except forced ridicule and empty bluster.
Nobody takes their nonsense seriously anymore.

I've never heard any "leftist" act like he was "the greatest man alive," so I don't know where you came up with that. But, yes, hatred is a sad but strong motivator . . . and his primary appeal to the right. As for myself, I read The Art of the Deal back in my undergrad, and I really haven't had any respect for the man since.

After the judge's decision, he changed his story and said he didn't have the money, and that it would be impossible to get the money. Now he's back to saying he has the money. You can act like you know for sure, but ALL of us are guessing at this point. Probably even Trump himself.

My guess is that if he does actually have the money, that it's because news of the upcoming Truth Social merger was enough to have someone loan him the money in advance.

 

The only way he walks into the White House is if he pays for a tour. But he might not have the money to pay for it.

 

What any critical thinking American should be concerned about is who is going to own "his marker".....the rest of the b/S you posted is just that.

Tech mogul? Lol, you mean Truth Social? Really? Well, unfortunately for you, I've actually been paying attention. Trump Magazine, Trump Steaks, his airline, his failed casinos (how do you bankrupt a casino?), Trump University, etc. etc. etc. I've asked for even a single example of such a business before, and the only examples anyone gave me weren't actually separate businesses, but assets of the Trump Organization . . . which is criminally and civilly fraudulent. The closest thing I can think of was his TV show, but that wasn't even his idea and was built on the illusion of his success.

Whoever told you he was "self-made" is an idiot. All he needed to do to turn millions into billions was to put his inheritance in the S&P 500. That's it. No skill required. And his "success" (often inflated by his own fee fees) fluctuates as to whether or not it can compare to what he would have raked in using this route.

 

China got Biden for far less.
