Trump is making blunder after blunder in his campaign. His big mouth will continue to get him in trouble. Biden has closed the gap in the polls, and is marginally ahead in a number of the National polls now. A conviction in the Hush Money case will hurt Trump. He has little chance of emerging from that without being convicted. And to top it all off, Trump is a terrible debator, and Biden will kick his butt in that venue.

 

Hard to agree with that. Common sense tells me that, if the the republicans were to have nominated Haley, there would be no chance for Biden to win. If the democrats replace Biden on the ticket they have a good chance of beating Trump. If they let Biden run he has a tiny chance to beat Trump. I wouldn't put any money on the Democrats' prospects this election cycle. I think donors who did what you suggest are not sensible people. The money would have been better spent creating jobs or donating to charities.

It is bizarre to me that Biden gets in front of a microphone and explains that he is president only for about half of the American public. He wants nothing to do with the other half. Very bizarre.

3. GOP Lost Governor race in Kentucky NOV 2019
4. GOP Lost Presidential election in 2020.
5. GOP lost special election in 2021 and lost 2 Senate positions in GA.
6. GOP Lost anti-abortion law in KS AUG 2022.
7. GOP lost Senate and two GOV in mid-term 2022 election. Red wave became oh well.
8. GOP lost special election in 2023 – In Wisconsin , Liberal judge won state wide election .
9. GOP Lost special election ( Issue 1) in Ohio in 2023
10. GOP Lost Governor race in Kentucky NOV 2023
11. GOP lost banning abortion in Ohio in NOV 2023
12. GOP lost entire Virginia legislative branch in NOV 2023.
13. GOP lost special election in Feb 2024 in NY.

FYI - these are not average polls in RCP. These are actual election result.

 

That number 5 was amazing. Republicans actually lost the Senate because of those 2 Georgia races. Trump was such a sore loser that he tried to steal the Georgia Electoral votes, and the aftermath of all that negative publicity killed the Republican candidates.
