Its water under the bridge, but clearly there was a reason why they picked KR, and not others and it had nothing to do with putting out any fires. I also doubt they were trying to murder him, but its irrelevant since his legal defense team was able to prove he feared for his life.

 

Bacause this deranged lunatic was one of the leaders of the violent protest, and he was furious that Rittenhouse put out a fire he had started. If this sex-offending arsonist hadn't been setting fires around town, nobody would have been shot.

The court found him not guilty. Self defense is justified if you fear for your life. End of story. He's a free man, and he said getting involved was a dumb thing to do, so it seems he learned a lesson. Unfortunately taking a life will probably haunt him for the rest of his life.

He attacked Rittenhouse. It's hard to "ignore" that. I get it, you wanted Rittenhouse to stand there and get beat to a bloody pulp by a violent pedophile in order to protect your cognitive dissonance. I don't even have to review the post history to know that there was likely a ton of confusion and cognitive dissonance about the events that prejudiced Rittenhouse. Rosenbaum was on video earlier in the day acting like a lunatic, he had just gotten out of a mental institution, and was extremely angry and amped up. It was obvious he was out looking for trouble.

I hate the fact that a stupid teenager, whether purposely or not, was the cause of two deaths, needlessly, and the right insists on making him a hero-like victim.
