I guess most in the UK are waiting with bated breath for an "official" explanation?
Curious who has access to the Royal's official site for posting and if someone just got fired?

It is a lovely photo. My goodness, what a firestorm over some amateur editing by Princess Katherine. She issued a tactful apology for the confusion.

If there was a "mistake", it was shrouding her abdominal surgery in such secrecy. Then the duration of her absence added to those with fanciful imaginations and too much time on their hands.

Let it go now. There are more important things to get fired up about.

The UK press is now reporting that Kate has cancer of some kind as well... Sad news.

 

What's with the royals all coming down with cancer all of a sudden? Were they exposed to radiation?

 

One outlet did say it was ovarian cancer. No one has verified that though.
Her long absence did indicate that something SERIOS was going on....... And it is sad that many chose to speculate and offer up speculations, ideas, and theories that only added pressure on that lovely family.
Her statement showed her usual dignity, and regal sophistication as she explained the medical crisis she has been dealing with.

It is imperative that her privacy and her family's privacy is respected.....and without the cesspool that social medica sinks to , so often.

Where is Yahoo getting their information/ FACTS from?? King Charles having a malignancy is bad enough without this kind of speculation. (and sensationalism). If the Palace want to keep as much of his treatment and recovery private.......that should be respected. These medical situations are tough for anyone to deal with, but those in the public eye have it compounds as we have seen with Catharine.
The press and social media seem to go crazy with al kinds of ideas, theories and speculations.......which does not help the situation or offer up any more FACTUAL information .Some serious compassion is called for now.

Charles has cancer.
Sarah Ferguson has cancer (again)
Now Catherine has cancer.

That is a LOT for ANY family to handle. It matters little who one is.
The Royal Family has been handling it pretty well.......... as that kind of balancing act is no easy feat.

Once the cancer reaches stage 4, the end is likely not far off much of the time. Catch it early and they can usually fix it. When I was in chemotherapy I met people who had their stage 4 cancer not cured but contained for years. The chemo has become a part of their lives but they lead fairly normal lives. So they have advanced cancer care quite a bit. Sorry to hear about your brother. It is always tragic to lose a family member.

Just last week I went to the emergency room on a different matter that required a CT scan. The problem that took me there wasn't serious, luckily, but they did discover that my sarcoma, that was cured in 2010, had returned. It isn't aggressive and I will have to undergo another surgery but this one will also be cured. Early detection is what it is all about. Here's hoping you can avoid what befell your brother.

 

Wishing you a good recovery from this current episode of the malignancy. You are right. Treatments for Ca have improved considerably.

You have to feel sorry for the Royal Family. It is a sad situation that the people must deal with. I just hope that Charles and Kate survive this cancer crisis. Losing Queen Elizabeth and Price Philip was bad enough b ut tow Royal Family members is bad enough. How will the U.K. be able to recover if Charles and Kate were to pass away to their cancers? Think about it.

 

As a Canadian citizen and a UK citizen, I don’t mind them. They bring lots of tourists to the UK, supporting businesses. They cost UK citizens almost nothing to support. They seem to be nice people. Why hate on them? What problems did they ever cause you?
