I didn't mock them. I know full well we will be getting that food here soon also. I think I can experiment with eating some of it. I will most likely stay away from dogs and cats though. Rats if they are cut up and not served whole looking like a rat with its head and feet still on though.

 

Cuisine is about art and presentation also. No shame in presenting a whole animal, that's where the unique flavours are. They also cook goose, not really tried in the west. I'd just like to correct myself though, the Chinese will eat anything that lives, rather than anything.

Some of their sauces are the most divine things you could ever try. They utilize beans in their dishes using these sauces and beans are crucial nutrition but not particularly appealing in its raw form, hence creating a sauce with added spices.

They are invasive and almost every body of water in Florida. They only get up to possibly near 2 lb and about a foot long and they're armored, requiring tin snips or a saw for a few mouthfuls of mushy, muddy reddish brown meat.

I'm from Florida and I've eaten pretty much everything that swims flies or crawls or walks or slithers.... And I rate plecostomus as absolutely only survival food only in case of starvation with no other choice. They are truly that terrible.
