I sure do. There are plenty I can write-in and if that doesn't work, I'll write-in myself. I decided back in 2010 that I was done voting for candidates whose only real draw for me to vote for them is because, according to their supporters, the other guy wants to destroy America.

Since you have blown off the border issue, we have nothing to discuss. You are a far leftist. I hope you don’t get the dictatorship that you so fervently desire.

No, the Democrats will get new site names and stuff the ballot box, just as they do in real life.

Reminds me of the arguments made by Clinton supporters.

Curious...why do you care who he chooses to vote for? His vote, his choice....right? Do you like people telling you how YOU should vote? I suspect not.

It's not me only, the majority of Americans blew off the border issue. As I have posted, border issue didn’t work in 2018, 2020, 2022. And it will not work in 2024.

May be you have been sleeping past 2000 years. The way democracy works is convincing other to vote for your side.

Why not shut down the poll? That way no one can vote and you have the winner you want. I mean why even bother with the poll at all , just open a thread and say “ Trump is POTUS”.

There are many things I don't like, including the question you are asking. But I live in real world , just because I don’t like something doesn’t mean everyone will do everything my way.

Any candidate not named Trump or Biden would do nicely. Like 64% of all Americans, I agree this country needs another viable choice other than Trump and Biden.

    https://harvardharrispoll.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/HHP_Mar2024_KeyResults.pdf

You have 26% of all Americans who view both Trump and Biden negatively. 34% view Biden favorably, but not Trump, 37% view Trump favorably but not Biden. Add the 26% of all Americans who view both unfavorably to those who view one candidate favorably but not the other. You have over 60% who view Trump negatively and over 60% who view Trump unfavorably.

It’s high past time for someone else not named Trump nor Biden.

    This.

I will vote for the best candidate that is neither Trump or Biden. At the moment that seems to be RFK, but I'll examine others more closely if they have a good message. I doubt I will ever vote for a republican or democrat again unless they are truly amazing. The two party system is the great evil in our system. Until it is dismantled, the game is rigged.

Convincing the country that "voting for a third party is throwing your vote away" has been the great propaganda victory of the two party uniparty. Hammering this into people's minds has just cemented the corrupt parties into the throne. They don't really care which side wins, because they know they can do whatever they want, because when the American people are angry, they'll naturally vote for the other party. Then they'll just continue acting in corrupt manner, because they know it will shift back to the other party. They can just do whatever the hell they want, and the only thing that will change is which side of the uniparty is in power, while the brainwashed masses believe they are 'making a difference' by voting for the other half of the uniparty.

You might be right on Matt Gates, but you are completely off about DeSantis. I disagree with him on his abortion stance, but otherwise he’s a great governor. Matt Gates is not my representative.

Both major parties owe their hearts and souls to corporations, wall street firms, lobbyist, special interests, super, mega, rich individual donors, etc. That where they get their billions of dollars to run their campaigns and organizations. 14 billion was spent on the 2020 election, another 9.3 billion on the 2022 midterms. When I said billions, I meant it.

Republicans and democrats write our election laws, they do so as a mutual protection act. If there’s one thing both major parties agree on, it’s that no viable third party will ever rise.

Yeah pretty much. Not voting for people I don't like, and I don't like Biden or Trump. My vote is my voice.

What I did was to decide which policy really winds me up,

and it is always Presidents who start wars. So back in the
GWB days it was GWB whose administrations were loaded
with neocons and started the wars in Afghanistan and in
Iraq. And I asked if his mother had told him not to start another
war before you finish the one you are currently fighting.

    Ditto the Biden Administration.

Trump may be disrespectful to women but he doesn't get
them bombed and kill their children.
