Well, I just showed you what the prices are per gas station in Cincinnati. Feel free to pretend its more expensive than what it really is.
I love the contrarian attitude but I posted what the average was-i happen to live in this area too and I suspect I have a better understanding than someone who merely googles something without paying attention to reality. I drove past 16 stations today on my way back from a rifle range-meaning I was near highways and in the back part of the county and the prices were all in that 350 range.
translation-anything that is "good" that happens under Biden, he is responsible for-anything bad that happens under Biden-he has nothing to do with it
neither does AAA-your site had the 10 cheapest in the area-a couple are members only sites like Costco and Sam's club. I picked the average cost which is what most people are paying: btw that site you cited-many of those are across the river in Kentucky where the gas tax is 10C less a gallon
What is great is in the OP: 300K created in one moth, lower unemployment and wage growth outpacing inflation. This is great recovery coming from the only President since jobs statistics are kept to have LOST jobs. And don't use the pandemic as excuse. This was happening BEFORE the pandemic.
Well, the talking point among the right wing is that these are all part-time jobs. This should be a good thing then because people work part time and don't spend nearly as much due to reduced income, but they are still spending and you don't want full unemployment. Do you agree or would you prefer to see a higher unemployment rate?
Sure, and then by about the end of May, when they are sure nobody is paying attention, they'll revise it downward signficantly as they always do. And it will come out that most of the actual hires were re-fills of jobs and not new ones. Plus, at least half of them will be government jobs, which Democrats are always good at filling. Big ****ing news.
Not true hiring was mainly concentrated in three categories: Healthcare and private education, leisure and hospitality and government accounted for nearly 69% of the hiring. In addition, construction companies added a solid 39,000 jobs.
Debbie Downer???? Government jobs isn’t just Federal……. BLS Employment Situation “In March, employment in government increased by 71,000, higher than the average monthly gain of 54,000 over the prior 12 months. 0ver the month, employment increased in LOCAL government, 49,000, and FEDERAL, 9,000” LOCAL government +49,000 FEDERAL government + 9,000
Yes, it's amazing how soon they forget the mess that's been handed off by the the last 2 Republican presidents. Trump - 1. COVID mess after denying it's existence for a couple months, and letting it get out of control. 2. Said he would do Infrastructure - never did. Left that for Biden. 3. Health care reform - all talk. 4. Highest 4-year debt ever - $8 Trillion. I could write a book about GW Bush. Instead, suffice to say the worst recession since the Great Depression, and was handed a budget surplus and totally blew it (even before 9/11).
Here's something a bit more current: More people are taking on second jobs because they literally can't afford not to | Fortune
In 2020, Trump’s government hired over 300,000 Census workers, for example; BLS Employment Situation, APRIL 2020 “Nonfarm payroll employment increased by 340,000 MAGA’s Response; Yep Yep Hooray! NOTE; 340,000 jobs INCLUDES 73,000 Federal Government jobs
