That doesn't answer my question. I said nothing abouut not protecting our borders; I might actually consider that depending on how it is done. I asked if we do take money from protecting other people's borders why are we only considering the Ukraine? Why not add Isreal, or South Korea Or Taiwan to the list?
Instead of projecting something I did not say would you care to attempt to answer my question.

 

There is no equivalent here. We signed a contract with Ukraine to give up its nukes and that we would assist if they were attacked by a large nuclear country. We are honoring contracts. I am no fan of our immigration either. You can whine and complain about it all day long. In the end it will never be fixed unless we vote in true conservatives in the house and senate. The president will never legally fix it unilaterally.

The money going to Ukraine and Israel are important for global stability.

 

US southern border is fine. We just need to open up more so average 3 million undocumented can come to US. What we need more judges so we can expedite their citizenship.

Well from 2017-2020, Trump let 2 million undocumented immigrants come to USA. And if Trump is right ( I disagree with him) these are all murdering, raping and bring drugs. I am not sure why Trump let 2 million bad people come to America. I thought Trump and Gop are for secure border.

 

You are correct, if the wall is built and it doesn't work, they'll come up with some other reason why the illegal "invaders" are all the Dems' fault. In any case, with today's government spending, $30 billion for the wall isn't a huge price tag. The Dems should just let them build it. Save the fight for more important issues. The old adage of one has to pick one's battles still holds.

The Trump administration claimed they completed over 400 miles. That included replacing structures that had been there before. Only 80 miles covered areas that had had nothing. The numbers are according the BBC.

That still beats “open borders” Biden. Biden has taken Texas to court when it has tried to erect barriers. The Biden puppet regime allows just about everybody in, and fails to defend our borders. So the “Trump failures” pale in comparison to the Biden puppet administration which wants almost no border security at all.

We have allowed many terrorists and criminals into the country. The FBI Director backs me up on that. I shutter think of the terrorists attacks we will face in the future as a result of Biden’s border policies.

 

Having seen what’s going on the college campuses with respect to Hamas, I now understand why you can never take a conservative position. If you did, you would be run off campus. Academic freedom is dead on most American college campuses.

I am not sure what protests on college campuses have to do with the inability of Trump to build his wall when he had both the House and the Senate.

Yes, it’s the Democrats fault. And if you were consistent, the border mess isn’t the Democrats’ fault at all because you support open borders. Therefore you should be openly supporting open borders, but you know that a majority of the voters don’t agree with you. So you play this game and blame Trump and the Republicans.

 

Okay, name ONE POLITICAL POSITION where you disagree with the Democrat position. Name ONE DEMOCRAT POLITICIAN you don’t like.

As a Republican, I’ll tell you where I don’t agree with the Republican Party, abortion. I didn’t want Trump to get the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. I’d like to see Margery Taylor Greene and Matte Gates out of Congress because of the crap they pulled with vacating the Speakership. The reason why we don’t have the wall on the Southern border is because former Speaker of the House, RINO Paul Ryan, stabbed the country in the back when the Republicans held power.

That’s the big difference between other Republicans and me and the progressive Democrats. Like the Communist Party, there can be no decent within the Democrat ranks. They can see that Biden is senile, incompetent, possibly corrupt and definitely over the hill, but they can’t say that within the party or you’ll be treated like RFK,Jr.

 

Don’t take that too far down the road. There are lots of fat cat Democrats who want cheap illegal immigrant labor too.

 

1) I disagree with the Dem focus on social issues. They would do better focusing back on the working class, which they seem to have abandoned. I also disagree on the wall, let the GOP build the wall, it's a small price to pay. I am also fiscally conservative and pro-life in my personal life. That doesn't mean I do not support the right to choose.

2) I don't particularly like Biden, I think he is too old, uninspiring, doesn't have new ideas... I also never liked Bill and Hillary. I think the Dems should have gone through with his impeachment, since they didn't have anything to lose (he already was in his second term). That probably would have spared us Hillary

 

But those fat cat democrats don’t go on tv and rant about border security. Gop rant about border security, undocumented immigrant but when it comes to their own wealthy , they have no problem hiring undocumented.

I live in WI and most rural WI are MAGA land. But every farmer in WI hires undocumented immigrant.

 

Hmmm - what could the differences be between our southern border and the Ukraine border. Let me think. Oh ya! An army is invading Ukraine and blowing up buildings. People are dying in their homes and in the streets at the hands of this army. There were 1700 dead children in the Ukraine - as a direct result of the war - as of Aug 2023. There are 70,000 soldiers dead in Ukraine and over 120,000 injured. Those are just the basic differences, which makes our border and theirs completely different. And it makes those making the comparison seem silly. And uneducated. And self absorbed.
