    No, which is why I rely on the prosecutors and judges who say the charges are valid.
    That is not saying he is guilty, but that the claim that the charges are not valid (made by non lawyers) is not a valid claim.

    Didn't go to law school just like you didn't. Which is precisely why I don't make definitive statements like... "the facts are the misdemeanor charges have expired and there's no Federal felony."

    There is also no shortage of late where NY didn't prosecute people....... like real criminals.

    They ARE. They're prosecuting Trump, for example. Our justice system is not perfect. But sometimes they get it right. Hopefully this will be one of those times.

    I think it's way more urgent to prosecute somebody who wants to be President than somebody who might later apply for a job at the Mall. We should demand higher standards from a President than from a barista at Starbucks.

    Your twisty turney to defend Clinton is impressive.
    And no, I don't think Trump is above the law, nor should he get a pass.
    The fact is, after 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 investigations of all things Trump and he's still not convicted of criminal anything. Yet.
    The question becomes; is Trump really that clean, or are his persecutors that incompetent?
    I submit that the answer is
    YES.

    You see, Hillary hired FUSION GPS who hired Steele, who is a foreign agent, to dig up dirt on Trump.
    The result was the Steele dossier, chock full of lies and half truths that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT then used to spy on Trump and on his campaign.
    And Clinton paid for that dossier through the law firm Perkins Coie and called it "legal fees".
    So.
    We have a Federal violation of election laws when Steele, a foreign agent was hire to work for Clinton.
    We have tax evasion,
    We have violation of campaign laws for campaign donations.
    We have a violation of New York fraud laws for mislabeling and hiding the payment of $1.3 MILLION to Fusion.

    Trump pays off Daniels to hush her up about his dallieance with her.
    According to new York, that violates
    Tax law
    Fraud law
    campaign law

    Can you still not see that the one "above the law" here is Clinton?

    You don't go by the date of the payment. You go by the last date you used a report of that payment and lied in the report, which is what he's being charged for.
    Its not outside SOL.

    Oh and the DA tacked on a non-existent Federal felony and extended the statute of limitations.

    The judge is going along with it, so yeah, he's crooked.
