Now that would be about the worst idea I ever heard of!! It would be the most partisan vote imaginable, with all the libs wanting to ban conservatives, and all the conservatives wanting to ban lib!!

I suppose my larger point would be that it does bother me to lose people from the forum.
    Yes, even newbies.

All of us were newbies at one point.

And when I first got here I believed the "there is bias" stuff I was being told.

And I believed it when lots of folks started leaving and tried starting a board war in December.

Then I started looking at some things that haven't changed and some of the members that have been here for a while.

And I started looking at other boards and realizing that at just about every single board out there---a discussion like this is happening very similar--and I decided that for better or worse---this is the place for me.

I have not been discriminated against.
I have NOT seen evidence of discrimination and in fact---have seen massive proof of people bending over backwards to prevent that.

People can either believe that or not.

But yes, it bothers me to lose people---and nothing I say and nothing the PF staff does---will stop it from happening.

Because some people want to see it continue.

And that's the piece of naivete that I didn't realize I had.

Actually, it might be the best display of bi-partisanship. Both the Liberals and the Conservatives voting to ban the Libertarians.

Apparently not all copies of the Forum Rules have been updated over time so I am taking care of that. Sorry about the confusion.

Nope, they can't. Be glad too.

Just because Libertarians obviously have much better ideas that the other two combined doesn't mean you can pick on us. :fart:

Huh, I thought rule 13 was the one where a mod could pick on JB anytime they felt like it. Yes, you are that special! :D

Who is 'you'? I think rules need to be a bit more specific than that. :date:

There was - I've seen it before. It just wasn't posted on all of the different 'Rules' stickies which as Shiva pointed out haven't been updated properly. One I saw earlier today only had 11 rules.

But you might have a case for reversal on the legal principle of Moderatorium Slackus :-D

Jolly Hockeysticks, you're a quick learner, Southpaw. Keep up that condescending tone and you'll be a mod in no time. ;)
