Here in Republicanland, it is the wealthy kids of politically connected daddies running pool cues, lit cigarettes and juice cans inside of young girls after raping them on videotape, then these kids get the best legal team a few million dollars can buy after proudly passing the tape around at school.

 

Again, great to see the youth of america work togeather as a team. Their desire to be associated with a larger group has been working very successfully. If they keep this up the police will hava a hard time tracking them down. As a few leave the team others will fill their ranks.

Too bad schools can't teach teamwork and leadership. If they did, student would be able to organize and protest getting screwed over by those manipulating them. That would be bad for the corporations and politicians.

If that were the case, how do you explain the media pushing to call the recent incident a "flash mob" yet the police were unwilling to do so? I suspect there is an element of the media not wanting it to sound too bad (there is a limit how much horror their readers can enjoy) but it still boils down to creating a product to sell.

Why are you so keen to identify the crime on the grounds of race alone? Wouldn't "Young people looting", "Music fans looting", "Philadelphians looting" or "Americans looting" be just as technically accurate (and just as meaningless)? Isn't this the exact opposite of PC and therefore equally dishonest?

This is ultimately about a group of criminal thugs assaulting and robbing people. Anything about the specific people involved, motives and causes needs to be discussed, not simply given simplistic labels. There is clearly a racial factor to include in the discussions but even that factor alone isn't a simple as many people (on all sides) would like to make it out to be.

Are you saying its ok to kill someone because they are stealing? If true, that doesn't sound very civilized. As an alternative, how about holding them under gun point until the police arrive?
