Do you really want to be run by a Morman?

    Here we have it.

Two Mormans who get their wisdom from peering into a hat and wearing magic underpants are front-runners for the Republican prezzy candidacy.

How can Americans believe in such chicanery? When all Americans want is Lady Gaga and Madonna to expose themselves pantless.

Would Huntsman and Romney enforce a higher standard of decorum? Would they crush average Americans with debt in order to protect their handsome lifestyles?

Who would they go unaffordably to war with?

the morman are very conservative christians, they are more likely to go to war again with the muslims for oil

america has to stay away from these candidates to avoid wars again.

I don't judge people by their religion.

But a devout practicing Mormon will necessarily possess values that diverge greatly from my own.

So no, I do not intend to support any Mormon candidates for President of the United States.

Most Mormons I know are good people. They are hard working and family oriented. They don't smoke or drink. Unlike a lot of evangelical Christians they not only talk the talk they walk the walk.

If you look at towns that have a lot of Mormons they are clean well run entities. Say what you want about the religion but those guys get results you can't argue with.

That doesn't even make sense. What does being very conservative Christians have to do with war with muslims for oil?

    Mormons aren't Christian.

They are polytheistic while Christians are Monotheistic. They don't worship Jesus as the son of God who is at the same time God. They don't have the trinity. To be part of the Christian Religion you must have all of that. You can quote me bible verses all day long but those are the key, required tenants to being Christian agreed upon by all Christian denominations (or Christian sub-groups).

I hate how some people demand they're Christians. They're entirely different religions. Saying that isn't being exclusionary or hating on Mormons. It's just a fact. They're a Christian as the Jewish faith is. And that is not at all but based on some of the same texts.

That said, I hate no issue with a Mormon leader. None at all. Heck, I wouldn't mind a Muslim one. Out of all the GOPers Romney is the one I like the best.

the liberal christian are most peace loving, the mormon for example are very conservative in their belief and take the bible literally.

he will follow the other conservative christian in the republican party and cause war with muslims for oil again

That's great for them in their personal lives. The problem is when they get into government and attempt to force their views upon others. Utah, for example, has some of the strictest alcohol laws in the U.S. Plus their strong support for institutionalized bigotry against the LGBT community is unacceptable.

Also there is more than a hint of creepiness in their whole squeaky-clean perfect image, in my opinion.

No one knows for sure how far the Viking settlement in North America extended, but it is known that it included parts of Eastern Canada and may have gone as far as present day Virginia.

Some people, like myself, are referring to North America when we say Vinland.

Cool. The Viking are very underrated. Most of their exploits failed.. however they charted a HUGE piece of territory.

Well, their goal was to colonize that part of territory, they didn't achieve that goal. They didn't fail in Iceland or Faroe though. And aruguably Greenland has been a success.

They colonized most of Northern Europe. Vikings form Denmark colonized much of England. They even colonized parts of France(present day Normandy).

The French never beat them. They settled in Normandy, eventually merged with French culture, and their descendants (the Normans) eventually conquered England in 1066.
