Palestine: the world's next recognized nation

The UN it is controlle by USA, UK, France, China, Russia. If talks there are successful, then this will be victory for not only Palestine but for the world.

And why do you suppose that is? Anybody as ignorant of the situation as you are shouldn't embarrass themselves by commenting.

Israel doesn't allow the Palestinians to export ANYTHING and have deliberately destroyed their greenhouses, olive groves and farm land to make sure they DON'T have anything to export. The last time they tried, truck loads of flowers and produce sat at the border crossing and rotted because they couldn't go through. They also don't allow them to IMPORT anything - seeds, plants, fertilizer, spare parts - anything they need to rebuild and grow crops to feed themselves.

When the huge armored tanks and bulldozers come into Gaza to randomly crush houses, businesses, farms, olive groves, roads, and anything else in their way with the express purpose of causing as much needless human misery as possible, the Palestinians have no recourse other than to throw rocks at them. It doesn't take a big tough man to run over the Palestinians and their property - all it takes is a coward in an armored tank or bulldozer confident that nobody has anything other than rocks to fight back with.

IMPO, we should arm the Palestinians equally with the Israelis. If they knew they were going to have something shooting back at them other than rocks, they'd stay on their own side of the border.

You cant make stupid people smart.

Jewish people have been the most persecuted people on the planet for thousands of years...

Why are they living like normal people in the 21st century?

Arabs squating in the desert because they refused to go back to their countries (Jordan, Syria, Egypt etc) are the dumb asses who choose to stay where they are at and call themselves "Palestinians"

Like i said, you cant make stupid smart...

    Israel:

Oh and heres the so called "Palestinian" squaters who arent smart enough to make any money..

The Arab squaters in Palestine were offered to have their own state MANY MANY times they refused every single time, yea thats how smart they are..

Nobody is against the Jewish people. They're against the Israeli government and their treatment of their neighbors. The Jewish people don't agree with the treatment of the Palestinians, either.

Because the U.S. has had their back against all the people they've mistreated. We've given them billions of dollars and treated them like "our best friends" even though they constantly have spy rings in this country spying on us and knew in advance that 9-11 was going to happen. To give them credit, they did warn Bush that "something" was going to happen but had people stationed in NYC videotaping the planes hitting the towers.

The Palestinians are mostly refugees from Israel where they were living and had owned land for hundreds of years before Israel was established. Where did you get the idea that they came from Jordan, Syria or Egypt?

I have to agree with you here.

Are you saying they should have jumped at Israel's offer to keep them as they are but give them a flag and a song? What kind of "country" has to agree to be demilitarized, give another country complete control of their air and sea space as well as their borders so they can continue to control their imports and exports and continue taking their land? Would Israel be "smart enough" to agree to letting another country have control of their land and water resources while they did without? Would YOU? LMFAO!

    Its not even their land.

Israel should have wiped every last arab squater off the map when they won the six day war in 1967.

They wanted to be nice and let these "refugees" stay there and look what happened.

Should have killed every last one of them. Lesson learned.

Maybe after just having experienced a genocide Israeli Jews were reluctant to commit a fully blown one themselves. A reluctance you don't seem to share. That's why your posts remind me a bit of the ideology my Nazi-grandfather was prone to.

No... if Israel could go back in time I think they would have made the Jordan river the border and made them all go to Jordan. Their would have been so much subsequant less violance as a result of the initial sadness of displacement.

Becoming a nation will not change anything since they've had the capacity already for a long time to police themselves, and failed.

Then, Israel would not have gained the support of much of the international community. Ethnical cleansing is not legal simply because it was practiced by certain racist Jews.

Ending the unnecessary occupation means that there is no need to resist such.

At the time it would have been a response to the security situation, the attackers foothold represents too great a risk. No violance or killing is required, just a stern shove (albeit at gunpoint most of the time) to freedom in Jordan. Its only a short drive away and why not give them some monetary compensation as well. Something like that back then would have been accepted quite easily. It could happen now if Palestine becomes a nation and increases its attacks with similar acceptance once the popular bluster ran out.

Israelis would have no lock explaining such logic to the international community. It would be rejected. Ethnic cleansing is not the best means of dealing with cultural disputes.

So when Palestine becomes a nation and it continues to attack Israel with rocket attacks. Are the Israelis going to have just sit there and take it or will they have a legal right to launch an invasion to stop rocket attacks?

What rights do the Israelis have in regards to self defense?

The nation of Palestine already is a nation, being recognized by 120+ nations.

Israel is also a nation, and it is still attacking Palestine with rockets. So, your excuse for national rejection is rejected.

Israelis could recognize and accept the nation of Palestine instead of firing rockets. The endless murder of hated Semites is not the solution to peace.

Israelis have the same regards to self-defense as Palestinians. Israelis are not superior to Palestinians regardless of how heavily racist Israelis may consider themselves as being.

It's hard to understand why there are still fools who believe that Palestinians are attacking Israel and not the other way around.
Of course, the authority of international law itself rests upon a just outcome for the Palestinians. Tough titty, Zionists, by all reasoned speculation.

That's quite an assumption you're making. Hasn't it crossed your mind that Palestinian resistance is in response to Israel's continued expansionist policy?
If Israel behaved as it is supposed to behave there would be no need for resistance to occupation.
How hard is that to understand?

The arab squatters in Palestine do nothing for humanity except whine and complain about the Jews.

They are hopeless, nothing good will EVER come from them, jesus man they are ran by a Government that is on the US Governments terrorist list.

I say pull ALL the free money we give them and let them die, mankind would be better off.

Ar least Israel is a productive member of the 21st century.

Those "Arab squatters" have been in Palestine for thousands of year and many are descendants of first century Jewish farmers.

NONE of them immigrated from Europe.

Look around at the 300- 400 year old olive trees.

Who do you think planted them, genius??

Uh the Jews have been in Israel for ATLEAST 6000 years, its "their" homeland, they were enslaved, killed and had to flee to other countries.

The arabs came in and squated while the Jews were forced to leave.

Why do you think the UN let the Jews become a state in their original homeland?

This isnt secret stuff, its history...

Further more, the Jews kicked the Arabs in the teeh in the 6 day war and WON their right to become a state, arabs lost, move on thats what happens!

Do you REALLY think Israel is going to say " hey you palestinians we are wrong heres our land" and leave?...lol Thats like everyone in New York moving and giving the land back to the Indians...AINT GOING TO HAPPEN BRO!!
