You evidently do not realize that we have federal, state, property, estate, city, county, insurance, and various other taxes. We are taxed to death by politicians that do nothing but waste that money.

Taxes are like unions, out of control.

xenophobic ? I think not. You better check the meaning of words before using them . I cant think of a more hospitable- receptive- welcoming nation than our Ozzie cousins.

btw - I'd bet - half (if not more) americans dont know where Australia is . Americans are notoriously ignorant of world geography, most hav never travelled beyond their state borders or know their next state's Capital..

    LOL

I doubt there are many who would be quite as "bright " most of yr countrymen.
The difference being that our idiots know + are aware of their short comings , whereas yours are totally oblivious + think coz they're "americans " they're automatically more intelligent than everyone else .

    ----

I'm not making this up, I've visited yr country roughly four times , 3 as a tourist -( family holidays -national parks )etc , , + once - a five month business training session - Minneapolis-St.Paul. Lovely people , I must say those of scandanavian descent/family links , are better at world geography than most.

    cheers.

btw you having a higher population means that you've got more idiots than us.however I still feel our idiots have more sense than making fools of themselves . (wink)

I think you should have titled your thread "the stupidity of half of America".

It would be more accurate that way.

Reading these attributes, it always occurs to me that at least fat if not even retarded does rather fit to Michael Moore than to George Bush.

I mean, it's strange that Michael Moore fits in every pattern in which Europeans unse to characterize the fat American. :-D

Sorry, was off topic, I just tend to think loudly. Sign that I am under(*)(*)(*)(*)ed maybe.

Then you can add your property taxes and vehicle registration taxes they already get 50% or more.

The incentive to build or start a business nowadays is being stifled. To expand you need more employees but because every employee comes with taking on unemployment insurance, health insurance, snf you can't even weed out incompetant employees without getting sued.

Now that the uncertainty of the value of the dollar and falling markets it makes more sense to lay off employees and schrink business.

LOL! There's no need to apologize, Glücksritter - I agree with you that Michael Moore is a fat, retarded American who does fit the negative stereotypes peddled by xenophobic Europeans. The funny/ironic part is that he shares the same ideological beliefs as the Eurotrash that makes fun of idiots like him.

A lot of them are stupid but recent polls showed a majority wanted cuts and revenue increases. As we can see by the debt deal, they were ignored by the politicians.

So blame the dems and the repubs first. They are the ones that ruled it out in the debt deal. They are holding the cards.:ignore:

Stop prattling like an ignorant piece of xenophobic Eurotrash, Marlowe. I know what the term "xenophobic" means and I'm more than capable of locating Australia on a map.

By the way, it's "have", not "hav". After you learn how to spell, we'll talk more about people's educational shortcomings...

I found the first problem with your argument: [IMG]

Secondly we are grossly overtaxed. Federal tax takes half of my income. I don't see any of that back. Doesn't matter I get paid peanuts and can barely survive on my own....

Thirdly we can't afford taxes to be raised...for same reason above. Half of us are so dam poor now that we can only do so much. Have you paid for gas recently? It takes $80 to fill my tank......

I love this part of the debate. I get to say this in response: FAIL and laugh at you. Not all Americans are overweight, and we're much better off than you Canadians. Doesn't matter to you dumb Canadians that other countries in the world are having a worse problem than us money wise? Why should you care, other than hocky, and being known as America's hat, Canada.....well doesn't make much of an indent in the world.

Instead of criticizing us, ask yourself, what has Canada done for the world....EVER lol

Yeah right boy. If you had at least half a brain, you’d know already that comparing Canada with the population of a large US state to the entire USA is as invalid a comparison as invalid gets. Don’t lose your day job boy and please do us all a favor and go back to school, you miserably failed the first time.

Yeah right boy. It is easy to see that you weren’t educated; you were brain washed by Marxists.

In any event, boy, if you had been educated instead of indoctrinated into Marxism, you’d know that governments can only create jobs at the expense of the private sector and yes those jobs are always low paying and temporary.

In fact, when governments gets involved in “make work projects” as you are proposing, it is analogous to a government giving a starving man a fish to feed him and prevent him from starving to death. However, once the fish is consumed the starving man remains dependent on the government. Whereas the private sector, on the other hand, would never ever give a starving man a fish, instead it would teach that starving man how to catch his own fish so that he could remain self-sufficient forever.

Indeed, once the funding to finance that project like fixing that bridge in the next County (we don’t have Parishes in the USA except for in Louisiana) that is falling apart is completed, the government’s low paying make work jobs also runs out. Whereas, if the government hadn’t legally discriminated against the private sector by stealing their hard earned earnings via confiscatory taxation, the jobs created in the private sector, on the other hand, are all not only permanent, but also much higher paying jobs!

Don’t lose your day job boy, especially in this economy.

To the extent that the USA is currently suffering from a cash flow problem, boy, that problem is the direct result of loons that are not only incredibly mentally incompetent but that are also ideologically aligned with unhinged leftwing Marxists like you. Nevertheless, as bad as our economy stinks right now thanks to those mentally handicapped morons, it still doesn’t stink nearly as bad as most other economies in the world. Not to mention also that so goes the USA’s economy, so goes the rest of the world’s economies.

    Pretty simple huh?

No, you see above, boy. However, you are right Trickle-Down is BS and Demagoguery just like class warfare is too.

I know it makes no sense to you boy, especially for someone like you that was indoctrinated into Marxism and never educated. Nevertheless, for businesses taxes are just an additional cost of doing business. Hence, they are inevitably passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices for goods and services. Indeed, slick leftwing politicians have been using this intellectually dishonest back door method of raising taxes on their constituents for years, and most delusional useful idiot leftists wholeheartedly support them because hey, as for as they are concerned, it’s taxes on business and industry and not on them right? Wrong, it gets passed onto them via higher prices for goods and services. In fact, it is private citizens that end up paying the greatest bulk of those taxes. Indeed, one of the biggest hallmarks of leftism is the inability to connect all the dots, and apparently you too are incapable of connecting all the dots.

I think all that cold weather up there must be getting to you boy, you haven’t been poking fun, you have been demonstrating how dumb you leftwing Canucks are.

Actually the USA is the world’s lone superpower and if it weren’t for the USA, boy, you wouldn’t be free or nearly as affluent as you are today. Say what you will, but that’s the truth and you can take that to the bank.

Dream on, Canuck. There is nothing Canucks can do that Americans can’t do and do far better. Furthermore, the only Canucks coming to the USA is the steady stream of Canucks flocking to America because your socialist welfare healthcare system is broken and doesn’t work. By the way, two of my good golfing buddies today are Canadian expats that fled Canada to escape the Canadian socialist welfare healthcare boondoggle, and I have heard hundreds of their horror stories.

Easy for you to condemn because you pacifists have never been forced to fight and sacrifice for your own freedom and liberty, instead like wimps you gutless Canucks have always relied and depended on Americans to do the fighting and sacrificing for you cowards. In any event, I have no guilt whatsoever for dropping nukes on Japan twice and if the situation were identical today, I’d fully support it again, because unlike you, I don’t take freedom and liberty for granted.

Indeed, you better wish and hope the USA never falls, because if it does fall, you feckless Canucks will be next. Indeed, if it weren’t for the USA, you’d Canadians would actually have to fund and maintain a military instead of a joke.

If you can’t figure that one out, then you are far more indoctrinated and uneducated than I originally first thought.

macljack, ever been on crack? My guess would be that's a fact, seeing as how you don't give a whack more crack to resolve his issues with that.

Understood, good. Doubled spending in 10 years as the feds wind out of control, when are you going to stop it? Zero benefits to the general population. The federal government has gone monolith and must be reeled in.

All you have to do is spend several days interviewing people and then conveniently edit out all the people who could answer the questions, and leave in only the morons, and then show it on youtube to make it look like all Americans are idiots. Isn’t hard to figure out. Nevertheless, America is the richest, most innovative, most affluent country, and most powerful country in the history of the world and that didn’t happen as a freak accident of nature.

Furthermore, with respect to delusional leftwing Euroloons, right wing Americans are exponentially far more intelligent, and you can take that to the bank.

It`s easier to criticise than to perform, as the old song says "walk a mile in my shoes", although it`s well past time that we all revised our systems.

Its quite simple really....American do pay too much taxes...the Zionist regime requires them to do so. Why else do you think they (the Zionists) through AIPAC sponsor all the senators to congress???

    http://www.davidicke.com/headlines/...xes-while-citizens-pay-over-1-trillion-a-year

This might help you to understand the needs of the CEO's. They, AIPAC take precedence over any American or any national aspirations of American citizens including taking risks to the detriment of all Americans.

    Senators = Judas!

I wonder......How many shekels did it cost to buy those American senators????

I'm amazed how many people in this forum seem to think that somebody like David Icke, who thinks that Prince Philip is an extraterrestial reptile from the constellation Draco, is a serious source of information on any given political topic.

It is indeed scandalous though that 2/3rds of US Corporations pay zero Federal Taxes. However, I'm sure it does not have to do with a Zionist world conspiracy of any kind but merely with the fact that big corporations can buy politicians and that in the US nobody will ever get to power without these corporations' massive campaign donations:

Very good! But doesn't every vote in any election carry the same weight....in a democracy?
And it doesn't change the link to be dishonest does it!!!!

Oooh....that's right....its hail corporate Caesar! The dictator!

Bought and paid....senators...who owe a great deal to AIPAC for allowing them to be elected to the senate using the money given freely by the American tax payer!!!

But I thought as "America" the self proclaimed policeman of the world, that your government and military were spreading democracy with the dime bombs torture and secret jails...I must be wrong as well as mistaken then ..hey!

As for David Ike......look deeper, you may be surprised at honesty!
I too had the same opinion as yourself regarding David Ike....but then I was listening to Wogan etc.

Sorry, but David Icke is utterly ridiculous. As for AIPAC: no doubt they're a very influential lobby in American policies and I would certainly agree that their influence is a bad one when it comes to the US's policies concerning Israel. But they're not the root of all evil in the plutocracy of the USA, where surely everybody's vote carries the same weight but not everybody has the same funds to manipulate people's minds when it comes to casting that vote.
