I doubt that Obama would be the only one to blame if we did. We've invaded oil-rich countries for years now.

Obama calls for Syrian leader to step down
August 18, 2011, Reporting from Washington and Beirut — The demand for President Bashar Assad's ouster is echoed by the governments of Canada and the European Union. The U.S. also expands its sanctions. The pressure may have a limited effect, however.

It isn't that interesting that we are getting involved in these resource-rich/strategic countries. It's obvious that we want their resources/strategic advantage, that's what makes that country worth going through all this trouble. We are not the "heroes" of the world. Although there are countries around the world in similar situations, they obviously are not worth the trouble. We are at no liability to help them. The rewards have to outweigh the price; we don't get involved out of the kindness of our hearts.

USA declares itself in support of Wahhabi terrorism world wide:
"Secretary of State John Kerry said on Monday that US ties with Saudi Arabia are "strategic and enduring", insisting Washington and Riyadh shared the same goal in the Syrian crisis.

"Our relationship is strategic, it is enduring and it covers a wide range" of issues, he told reporters as he wound up a visit to the kingdom aimed at easing tensions with the traditional ally over US policies on Syria and Iran.

"There is no difference in our mutually agreed upon goal in Syria," Kerry told a joint press conference with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Saud al-Faisal."

According to a recent report by French daily Le Figaro, the weapons used by the militants in Syria are initially purchased by Saudi Arabia from black markets in Ukraine and Bulgaria. The weapons, which include Israeli missiles, are then transferred to a number of cells on the outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

These cells are directly linked to a command center in Jordan, which is headed by Saudi Arabia’s intelligence chief. However, in his absence, this command center is led by a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent, according to the newspaper

Why isn't Kerry wearing a black halo?

In short, he'll give them kisses every bit as sloppy and "strategic and enduring" as those of the Bush family. Reason? Saudi oil backs US monopoly money.

I am not saying anything specific to this being right or wrong....but what I will say is everything done is part of an overall strategy and plan specific to obtaining and acquiring guaranteed oil and LNG production and purchase by the United States.

There is an ENERGY WAR going on has has been going on for multiple decades and the U.S. is playing for keeps!

I certainly won't disagree with that.. I'm just talking about our so-called world reserve currency. Part of what props it up is, well, its reserve status in the global oil trade.

More US dollars are held abroad than domestically...

Which is a VERY large incentive for those holding U.S. Currency to want a strong and vital U.S. Economy as a weak one means all those U.S. Dollars would be worth less.

Jep. That comes back to what you said, of course. The US has positioned itself as "too big to fail" in the eyes of the rest of the world, so they'll all labor and bend over backwards to follow and support the USA like ants serving their bloated queen.

That's crazy talk. The USA's continued dominance was a multi-generational lie. Just like the lie of American prosperity without the exploitation by the global market. America became lazy because of the lie, and now we will pay for it.

From the future projections that I hear America is going down. Just remember, during the assassination of Julius Caesar every wound was made by a dagger stab for a past offence.

It wouldn't surprise me that when it's time for my generation to pass the torch onto the next generation that America is going to be a sweatshop nation, making shoes and sweaters for up and coming China and India, in other words just like all the other poor third-world nations enslaved to an IMF development plan.

Nope, the terrorist Obama is a coward, he'll never attack Syria as long as Russia doesn't agree.
