The guy has an avatar that says he/she is a right-wing extremist. Why are you suprised he/she thinks someone who has a different point of view is "unamerican"?
The discourteous tone of discourse down there is getting out of hand. Regardless of your political stripe this is way over the top. Both sides have to realize that by using this type of tone they bring all politicians into disrepute and substantially ratchet up the public's animosity to them - to both sides.
She isn't flinging anything, just asking Obama to speak out to find out where he stands on this issue. Is he going to stop these jobs from being created in SC?
Obama's jewels are in the vise on this one. If he supports the unions the GOP crucify him as a job killer, if he supports the company the Unions withdraw their support. This is one he just wises would go away quietly but it won't, this will be brought up over and over and over in 2012.
You didn't get the memo? That only applied to GW Bush. Liberals simply exist in a world of double standards, so don't bother to try and understand if you value your mental health.
Unions won't withdraw their support. Where are they going to go? They will take it on the chin and pay, because they can't go anywhere else and they won't allow themselves to be marginalized.
they can always just sit at home, no use pouring good money after bad here's some links for your reading pleasure http://www.google.com/webhp?aq=f&hl...8l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=74e371c96a48f4b
No they can't. If Obama were to somehow win, and unions stayed home, they would have no say in the next four years. That's too high a risk to take. They can say whatever they want, their leaders know the reality on the ground. Its all fluff talk, they will be there and giving their money out like they always have.
Most of the time the "right" complai9ns that jobs are moving abroad to cheaper labour and Obama isn't doing anything about it. Now here we have the same situation, only internally. The court case is about Bowing moving jobs to another state, to avoid costs. This the exact same thing as moving the jobs to China, only the boundary is different. The next steep will of course be to move the jobs to China, then you'll complain that American jobs weren't protected.
Yes, because its cheaper to do business in South Carolina, I guess you didn't see that pay for workers at their current plant is something like only a dollar more than it will be down in South carolina.
The amount of US tax dollars being funneled into the unions is astonomical. So, sure they can afford to back liberals. In fact, they really can't afford not to. Proof? Well, just for starters, look into the "Blue Green Alliance", check the background of those running the NLRB and the activities of one "Andy Stern". http://www.bluegreenalliance.org/about_us?id=0001 Unions and democrats = corruption on steroids.
