the donald goes on fox and say the #1 reason The u.s. economy can't rebound is because opec jacks up the price of oil once we get our wheels turning and takes the moment out from recovery. He also say the u.s. leaders are "STUPID" because we didnt take oil out of iraq and Libya. Any one doesnt realize that dependence on that oil is the real problem is an "idiot" . FAIL Donald. FAIL!

lol lets be self relient and jump on a blend of wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, tidal, biomass, and Hydrogen energy sources. opec problem solved

We could even spend 25 years weaning ourselfs off fossils fuels with all the natural gas we have for all the fossil fuel nuts out there. READ A BIOLOGY AND GEOLOGY BOOKS KIDS! it will make a little more sense.

In the meantime, we should be using more of our fossil fuels, the same ones the environmental crazies like you want to 'protect!" Dimocrats have caused thousands of lives by not allowing us to be energy independant years ago hence pushing us into the ME war.

    No...
You're just giving a half truth.
The main reason America is engaged in the ME is primarily to boost the private military industrial complex. Just look who was vice prez and the company he helped make such a profit. As well as all the no bid contracts. The oil is more of a side bonus than anything else. The fossil fuel industry is finite and we're going to run out all too soon. Besides if America keeps their fossil fuels unused then they can charge for ridiculous rates latter on as Russia plans or save them for necessity rather than waste on private vehicles and throw away products. America needs to diversify it's markets and create a more expansive variety of jobs. What will happen to future generations if the country has strictly focused on creating jobs in the fossil fuel industry when it runs out. Action should be taken now to produce jobs which will be required in the future jobs that can't be out sourced to foreign countries but the market is so polluted with poor job options, a failing education system, and people who are all too willing to be lead by sociopaths who won't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about the country's future. The vast majority of Americans reluctance to plan and act against future consequences has thrown the country into its current plight. It's always how can we solve the problem in the fastest way possible with little regard for the long term. The neo liberals are just as much to blame as the conservatives.

I have looked into energy independence at the home level. If you look at solar energy for your home, the first thing you learn is that it is much cheaper and easier to conserve 100 watts of power than to produce it. For example, changing 3 incandesint light bulbs to the new CFL bulbs will save appx. 100 watts of power much easier than adding a 100 watt solar panel. Copngress has passed a law phasing out incandasent bulbs over the next few years. A couple of months ago Michelle Bachman introduced a bill trying to repeal the law. She said Americans should be free to choose what kind of bulbs they want. We don't ned gov't regulations telling us what to buy. Thepoint is , itris much easier to conserve than produce. The Dems have tried for years to force DEtroit to make more effiecient autos. I mean, ther isno reason why these cars should not be getting 60 miles per gallon. Most of our oil use is in auto gas, it wouldbe easiere to double mileage than double production. The REP say we do not need more regulations. The oil companies will nopt increase production enough to drive prices down. As atruck driver I used to drive through Texas alot. I could pretty much tell you the price of crude by just looking out the window and seeing how many wells were pumping. If the price was up, all the wells would be pumping, If it was down, the wells would be sitting still. f crude is down they will leave it in the ground and buy of the arabs and wait for the price to go up , and walla, and those well you thought must be dry start pumping oil again. So anyone who think that the oil companies ar looking out for us are dreaming. They are actually robbing us. So blaming the environemental crazies for our problems is crazy itself. They have to have somebody to blame.

Polarization is the biggest problem in the U.S. When the "American" people work together they can overcome anything. The U.S. saved the World during Wold II; and they did it as "ONE".

It is now 2015 and Donald Trump is leading in the majority of the GOP polls. I don't think the majority of American voters would vote for a radical.
