So much for that Republican cakewalk into 2012.

It does not matter... all that matters is how local constituents feel about their Representative and not how they feel about other people's Representatives.

Let me ask you... does that include the Senate or not?

What does matter is the Presidential Approval Ratings which for Barack Obama are in the dumps. Now those numbers are from all the people that could vote for him. If you asked in each and every individual district what they felt about their specific Congresscritter, then you would have a poll on Congress that matters.

Are you really so politically naive that you cannot recognize the irrelevance of a carefully crafted poll question asked to a carefully selected segment of the population by a single biased poll?

Lets look at reality for a moment: Did you miss this week's election results? How were you able to convince yourself that the Democrats losing a seat they had held since the seat first came into existence means nothing?

Here is a quote from a voter in Weiner's district that should worry all liberals.
Are you purposely ignoring last year's election results, or are you simply not aware that the "Kennedy seat" was lost?

Not paying attention to Obama's falling support as shown by every single poll regardless of bias? Don't you think that might have some bearing on what will happen next year?

You are living in a dream world that is going to be ripped to shreds next year. Don't worry though, I'll be right there, laughing at you.

I expect these numbers to change as more mainstream Republicans lose their seats to Tea Partiers.

I am all for that. Only a true moron would think that a national poll on congress means much for individual congressmen. Only the Congress members' local populace decides their fate. It's not a national vote. You ought to check out the U.S. Constitution some time. I know you Liberals are opposed to it, but it still is the law of the land.

I'm all for it too. You still need an actual candidate to run against Obama.

The GOP could put up Nixon's corpse and Barack Obama would lose soundly. I think you liberals are out of touch with what is about to happen in 2012.

I think you are confused. Perez Hilton would be the type of person to "stalk you".

I'd personally rather wait until one of the Republican monkeys (the idiot extremist or the flip flopper) is nominated and some of the 24/7 media Obama scrutiny is shifted towards them.

Republicans are known for their unending cheerleading and chest-beating before elections, even ones that end up in massive defeat. Let's keep it real.

Politicians in both parties and the indies need to be voted out. It is troubling to see the same old relics in congress and the senate on TV with their smirks and propaganda, pointing fingers, and doing nothing. Guys like, Boner, Biden, Liberman, McCain, Frank, Waters, Pelosi, and Reid. All give me the creeps. Ask yourself, what have they realy done in their 25+years in Washington? What have they done to improve your life, or the Country of the USA. "Nothing", but somehow they kep getting elected. Time for the voter to take back pwoer of the simple minded BS propaganda machine that allows Weathy Corprations and special interest to take advantage of the taxpayer.

What am I talking about? We all know the same dumb fools and morons who buy into these politician's propaganda will vote the same old relics in, and the USA will continue to fail.

The outlook for the USA is grim, and in critical condition. No longer is the USA's condition and direction a crisis, it is an emergency. Because "You the People" are too stupid to know what is good and will never do the right thing.

Americans are like a idiots who make the same mistakes over and over again, and expect a different outcome.

Other countries have studied America's blueprint for success, and now they are studing America's blueprint for failure.

We need to get rid of Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer. If those thieves are allowed to stay in power, America will continue to suffer...

Take the tin foil hat off. Paranoia is a sign of narcissism.

The last several elections are showing a huge trend of getting rid of all liberals. It's going to happen. Get used to it.
You are the one that said you fools wouldn't lose a single seat in 2010.

Who we really need to get rid of is their money men. Who is behind these particular people? How can we get them indicted for shenanigans, embarass them or make them politically toxic to touch?

You are aware that the story could be rewritten in this way...

"All of Congress is loathed. The republicans are disliked by 81% of the country with the democrats only scoring a slight bit better, being disliked by 72% of the country. The results reveal clearly that no party has even token approval."

"In addition, The President is disliked by a bipartisan majority of the country showing 61% disapproval (Gallup as of 16 Sep)"

Put another way, who would you rather be, a democrat running or a republican running next year? Now consider that in the Senate the dems have many more incumbents on the ballot than do the republicans this time.

When all is said and done, when all the spin is over and all the votes have been counted, we will see at least 20 more republican house seats, a 10 seat gain in in the senate and a republican President, unless unemployment falls under 8% and the economy looks clearly better and the jobs 'created and saved' are seen as a real number and not DemCount.

When you have a tea party member winning a congressional election in a 3-1 democratic district.....the dems are in trouble.

especially when the same district is heavy jewish and the tea party member that won was a catholic who defeated an orthodox jew.

Polls are showing that Americans are not in favor of trimming the deficit by cutting social programs. Americans no longer buy the pitch that trimming the deficit creates more jobs. And as a matter of fact the unemployment rate is more important to American’s than cutting the deficit period. The Republicans are heading in the wrong way.
    .

Don’t worry about Obama. Few Americans trust Rick “Social Insecurity” Perry with America’s future. And Mitt Romney if nominated will create disaffection among the hard right wing (who fought against Romney Republicans in the 2010 Congressional Primaries.) And he will certainly lose the Christian Right Wing who distrust Mormons.

More likely you’ll be crying in your beer, especially regarding the outcome of the Presidential Election.
