I'm surprised I actually know what a ''Thelemist'' is. Though I'm never sure whether I approve or not, similar to sugar in tea as opposed to tea without sugar. Certianly more tasteful than Abrahamism, at any rate. I've never been a'warned by any source of raging Thelemites.

Everything you listed as sins above are from the Old Testament. Christians today teach from the New testament. The OT is used sort of as a "history" lesson, but Jesus ended all of these things. You don't find anything like that in the NT. In the NT Jesus tells us how we should live our lives ( do not Judge others, love your neighbor as yourself, etc). We are not told any longer that we cannot eat certain foods. When Jesus came, he FULFILLED all the old laws so they were no longer needed. But, He did tell us what was still an abomination to Him (God)...and one of them is homosexuality (a man shall not lie with another man as with a woman". That's GODS words, not mans. So it is not up to us to condemn them, God will take care of that in his own time. Just as He'll take care of all sins that haven't been repented.

I don't mind living here. And I don't mind voting against any legislation that has to do with homosexuals or homosexuality that treats them as an acceptable lifestyle. I enjoy exercising that freedom. Don't you.

This is why I disagree with advocates of education in response to problems of ignorance. Even if you cover a topic thoroughly, people who couldn't think it through themselves won't bother to think it through with help.

I'd recommend reading Locke as a primer on the American conception of freedom, but somehow I don't think that'd help.
