Let's play a game, your a socialist or a liberal or a OCWer...I'm Donald Trump. I employ 20,000 people, and I make $60 million a year. Here's the kicker: I refuse to pay any tax which redistributes wealth. No medicare, no obamacare, no social security.

What are you going to do to make me pay for it? Or what are you going to ask the government to do in your name?

With current law if you don't pay your taxes you would be in jail or busy paying lawyers to keep you out.

 

The feds will pay you a visit.

NO, NO, NO...Tax laws are only for the cons and you only have to pay them if you're a con...otherwise all will be forgiven.

 

It depends, if your tax return does not add up you are notified and asked to pay; if you refuse, then you will go to jail.
If actually happened to me, a couple of years ago I got a letter from IRS asking for an extra 4k and I paid right away because they were correct.
As long as you agree to pay, it is very very unlikely for anyone to go to jail for being late on taxes.
Clarence Thomas also failed to mention an extra 700k; money her wife earned representing tea party and anti healthcare reform groups!

It was a different form and he caught the mistake himself.

And even if it was his taxes (which it wasn't) but even if it was Thomas is not a tax expert like Geithner and Rangel are supposed to be.

If the argument that some people deserve more money because they are so good with money holds water, then why can't billionaires afford to pay taxes, can't Warren Buffet afford to live on $64,000,000 a year? Even if they tax that amount at 50%, Mr. Buffet would still have $32,000,000 to get by on this year. If he can't survive on that, it's my opinion that he isn't really very good with money and by the rich's own definition, does not deserve it.

That's what they say about the working poor, anyway.
