    Origionally yea it was a left wing party, but Hitler changed it to be more right wing, but regardlless National Socialism is pretty much off the political spectrum, it is quite unique.

    Self-educated.

    No matter what Hitler said, this is what his policies were:
    1. The needs of the state before the individual
    2. Abolition of capitalism
    3. "unearned rents" made illegal (land ownership, investment)
    4. The nationalizing of business (marxist, socialist, no matter whether Hitler ever said anti-marxist rhetoric)
    5. Authoritarian central planned economy including education and welfare
    6. Extreme rhetoric that the poor are underpaid and a strict policy for equality
    7. Ran as a progressive, against the conservative establishment.

    Now let's run through his policies and see which are liberal or progressive and which are conservative.

    1. This is the fundamental ideal of the nanny state leftists love
    2. Lefties hate capitalism
    3. Lefties always complain about low wages, capital investment and gains, and landownership
    4. Lefties don't believe the private sector can handle: healthcare, education, welfare, regulation
    5. Lefties are all for the centrally planned economy which dictates prices, values, and regulation
    6. Refer to #3's liberal association
    7. Lefties are ofcourse progressive, for "change".

    Over here, you are not allowed to give your child a 'title' name. So King, Queen, Prince, Duke etc are all banned. A couple actually named their child Duke and were told to change his name - when the kid was already about three months old. I can't remember what happened with them. I hope the kid was able to keep his name. Duke isn't that bad.

    To be consistant, you MUST now agree that any child named Fidel or Ernesto should be taken into state custody.

    They probably couldn't if they wanted to. Who decided what names are "appropriate"? I have known people with some odd names...Elrond, Immacula, Archibald, Elvis...worked with someone you probably think should have been taken from his parents: his name was Rufus Gabrial Loonfeather.

    No, that isn't the issue. If you bother to read the OP instead of knee-jerking to your usual 'it's a leftist ploy', you'll notice that both parents have been judged to have 'issues' which have led to evidence of "abuse and neglect" of the children.
    Naming their children after such odious entities shows without a shadow of a doubt that they have no idea of how to bring up children-which is a seperate but related matter.

    Fascism is authoritarian nationalism. Since socialism is a form of authoritarianism, the only separation is nationalism.

    So moving past the degeneration of the whole Nazi thing, we have so-called Americans supporting the state's right to what children can be named? As to the foreigners, well we all know they are freedom haters anyways as many of their nations already have laws about what names are appropriate.
