When you think a government document is a forgery you go to the government to confirm it. Which is what birthers did. And the government confirmed it. So therefore it can't possibly be legally considered a forgery unless you find another government document that conflicts it.

And the social security number displays nothing that could possibly be enough evidence to bring someone to court. Social Security numbers were generally assigned where they were issued. Not where Obama was born. If Obama applied in Connecticut he'd have a Connecticut in social security number. Why he was in Connecticut is of no concern to the court and is not relevant information.

If you want to have a field day of conspiracies for why he was in Connecticut feel free. But expecting the court to take action on it is nonsense. We have a system of innocent until proven guilty. And simply because something seems strange is not enough of a reason to bring someone into court. And be thankful it's not. Or you'd be brought to court for a lot of things in your lifetime.

No. It's set up so that none of us have to deal with frivolous and baseless accusations. If I have a government document saying one thing I shouldn't have to deal with every person under the sun who thinks that document is a forgery. It's up to the accuser to provide evidence. That system is set up for a reason. Because if something is worthy of going to court there will be evidence for it.

 

A friend of mine once had a similar to Obama's situation, whereas his wife suspected him of... well... misbehaving.

How did he put her suspicions to rest? For the next two weeks, it was my friend who kept bringing the suspicions up, making fun of his wive and ridiculing her, for even suspecting such a model hubby of... well... misbehaving. It worked, after two weeks the suspicions were forgotten.

 

Was he guilty?

I'm not into the whole birther thing, but Obama has been a complete moron on how he handled it, and every other matter. He is seriously the worst president when it comes to making a REAL decision. Not one decision has ever been made without at least 30 hours of consultation with his controllers...

Couldn't agree more, D. A real man would've put this issue to rest in the very beginning but this man played it like a 14 yr old. Refusing to seriously acknowledge people's concerns with anything but flippant remarks and smirks. Then an OFFICIAL b/c suddenly surfaces and nobody's supposed to question why it took so long? Hard to believe we're 4 years into this controversy and he's yet to address it with anything but a big grin.

The question of Obama's eligibility was long ago overshadowed by the realization he's totally incompetent. Which is the reason barackobama.com is keeping the issue alive.
