These were pictures the Duggars took to help them deal with the loss of their baby girl, whom they named Jubilee Shalom. She was born at 19 weeks on the 11th of December. The pictures were given to family and friends who attended a ceremony the Duggars held to say farewell to their lost daughter. Some people appear to be 'outraged' and 'angered' over the images, according to other news sources who have carried the same story. They claim that other women could become distressed at seeing the pictures. Really, who cares? If taking photos helps them deal with their grief, then there shouldn't be an issue with it: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/nationnow/2011/12/duggar-family-baby-photo-grieving.html I think its a good idea, actually, and it shouldn't offend anyone. Michelle Duggar has reporte said the images were for family only, and were somehow leaked online, although how they could have been leaked is beyond me. As her last child (Josie) was born nearly three months early, and now a miscarriage, surely she and Jim Bob will see that nature (and God) has decided there are to be no more children??
It is likely that they hosted the pictures online so that they could access them on multiple computers easier and that their photobucket (or whatever) account was compromised.. or an overzealous TLC person got their hands on them and sold them. There are plenty of greedy sick people in the world who would see nothing but dollar signs from this.
I have just read that apparently it was a cousin at the memorial who tweeted the pictures. They were later removed from her account but TMZ was quick off the ball, and is happily showing them around. One website I just read appeared to mock the Duggars for daring to name their dead baby. Aparently what is normal for the majority of people is somehow wrong for them.
I don't like the Duggars, for a number of reasons. But this is not the way to show your disapproval of thier lifestyle and should be condemned unilaterally. TMZ is a joke of a site that only exists to profit off of others misfortune. Not just in this instance.
21 kisd? .... wow...... Well, I agree w/you - if this helps their grieving process, so be it - it's their business... It's despicable that someone leaked the pix on online, but there's a lot of cruel people out there who will do anything for the almighty dollar.... hopefully, the Duggars will get past this double heartache w/o anymore grief. When my oldest daughter was around 2, I met this gal and after getting to know her, one day she showed me a pix of the 2 yr old son she had once - laying in his casket. That unnerved me and will never understand how a parent can keep a pix of their child laying in it's casket.... I couldn't do it. But everyone is different.... 21 kids .... wow....
Yeah, 21. She miscarried her first child when she and Jim Bob were first wed, and she says she has 19 children living and 2 in Heaven, so 21 kids it is... Heck, that's a lot.
I thought everyone had heard of the Duggars. I first heard of them when they had their boy Jackson. He was baby number 15, I believe.
Nope. I'm guessing it's a pay-TV thing in Australia (?) I've not seen ads on the regular channels. I'd never heard of the Kardashians until that air head came here a few weeks ago.
I don't think the show is worth watching but this is sad news =( The loss of such a young life is always the hardest, can't believe TMZ would sink so low. They're despicable
