Yes, my mom is like that. She spends more money than she has on gambling. Yes, those people are stupid. I think we should ban casinos. No good can come from them. I'll be making money just for going to college so I have my income well balanced already. So, you'd rather have someone who spends more money than they have on gambling running the country than someone who can make income just for going to college?

Yes, I said that. People have been gassed in the past for saying stuff like that, and what you said was treason. I said you were lucky you lived in a country like the U.S. who lets you say anything you want, yet you're the one who wants to secede from them.

Nope, I never once expressed a desire to secede, I merely expressed the opinion that people have the right to self determination. I'm in good company with that opinion as well...Th. Jefferson, Sam and John Adams, Geo. Washington, Th. Paine, Gandhi, etc...

Then again you also have plenty of company for your opinion...Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, Kim Il-sung, etc...

The whole thread was about states should secede and you supported that view.

    That's a lie.

    This was the OP:
The entire thread was about whether secession should be legal or not. It was a discussion about the concept, not a call to action. I expressed the view that people have the right to self determination. I never, not once, expressed a desire for states to secede. Nice try.

Most people who posted acted like it was a call to action and a lot of people in that thread did express a desire for states to secede. I'm sorry if I confused you with someone else.

Interesting thread. I think I would be in favor of the right, but it would take extreme conditions for me to support such a thing.

Actually, very few people in that thread acted like it was a call to action, you simply chose to mischaracterize it that way. Still, this is why I would never vote for you. Had you been POTUS, I would have already been executed and then only later would you have realized that you might have been confused.

No, there are a lot of kooks on this website that would be in favor of seceding now if they could.

There are also a lot of kooks who condone executing people for their ideas...you being one of those.

I read your website and it looks like we agree on a lot of things. However, I think we are completely different on how much emphasis we put on certain ideas. You said we wouldn't need war to take over the world. If I had the option to do it, I would do it peacefully, but we would not compromise. I don't think many countries would just want to be annexed on to the U.S. My plan would be a couple days before the invasion of a country, tell them they need to either surrender now or face invasion and the overthrow of their government by force. We would tell them the benefits of having their country annexed to the U.S., and that this option is much better than military invasion.

I don't like the one year idea. It would be hard to get anything done in one year and electing new people every year would be a pain also. A lot of plans take many years to carry out, so I'm in favor of having unlimited terms for Presidents and all other elected officials.

For people that actually want to start a revolt and secede from the U.S., yes I do favor execution of those people. Same for any other traitor.

You have made it very clear that your executions wouldn't stop there.

You would have people killed for the mere ideas that form in their head. Despicable.

Most politicians don't like the one year idea, they want a career. I could do it in one year if I had US to back me up. some people are gifted in different things, I am gifted at that. some things you just know and have no doubt about that. I understand very well as I explained that people in all of those countries would WANT to be part of America, and that what our war pigs offer now to all those countries is NOT that. they offer them robbery, which results in millionaires among us plus many poor working people competing for low wage jobs.

Every country deserves a UN monitored vote to join or not to join together. if they vote not to join together we leave them alone and not allow any of their immigrants in. no matter if their people starve like in haiti or korea or africa or the ocean.

If many immigrants try to illegaly come to America from one of those nations where people voted not to join us, then we make it mandatory for them to build a wall around their country as an ultimatum to full invasion or nuking. that is moraly justified

I don't think this would work. You would have to be more persuasive than Hitler for it to work. I kind of like the idea of the other country building the wall. It's better than the current solution.

Yes, some people should be killed for the ideas that form in their head like that guy from Norway.

Back off and realize we are all on a rock floating through space.

Well... not that far back.... consider that America is a great experiment in Capitalism. In order for capitalism to work there are 5 essential elements

    1. Discretionary spending... unless you have spending money above the essentials to just exist and pay bills you are not only in economic slavery but you have no power to purchase goods and services that puts other citizens at work, giving them jobs so they can share the burden and pay taxes and stay off governmental subsidies. Simply put, without discretionary spending capitalism can't work.

    2. Solid currency. If you want to destroy a nation there is no better way than counterfeiting their currency. In order to grasp the significance of this factor just look up Sam Upham and find out what he did to the Confederate currency. Since we rely on faith in our (fiat) currency, printing money is the worse thing for our instability -- both nationally and internationally.

    3. Impartial referee. Capitalism is a game that is played out in millions of transactions a day between buyer and seller. Since Congress is in the position of referee they can't be paid like gamblers paying the refs in the super bowl or the outcome will be predictable and unfair. The most precious commodity of any business or cooperation is their PROFIT... so if they are giving it up to political contributions it's obvious they are buying something (access) or paying to be exempt from (monopolistic) rules and regulations.

    4. Trade neutrality. It does not put our fellow citizens to work if we use our discretionary spending to buy MORE products from a foreign country than they buy from us.

    5. Monopolistic regulations. In early stages, capitalism is like two lemonade stands competing across the street from each other when there is not enough traffic to support both. One stand starts offering free refills. Then the other stand offers a free cookie. And the competition goes back and forth till only one is left in business. In the final stages of capitalism it's no longer Walmart vs. Kmart... it's Exxon hijacking a customer at the gas pump when they are on their way to buy a Ford -- or the drug store taking your last few bucks for a pill when you were on your way to eat out at a restaurant. Savvy businessmen offering ESSENTIAL goods and services (health, insurance and energy) paid a trillion dollars
to campaign contributions (during the past 10 years) to influence political decisions that allowed them to cheat consumers. The idea of government increasing the money supply to give citizens discretionary income to avoid a depression doesn't make sense since the government doesn't make money or create wealth. What they must do is extend and enforce antitrust regulations. Rather than trying to get money BACK by increasing taxes for the extremely wealthy, they must regulate PROFITS and not allow them to hijack consumers at the gas pumps or when they get sick or have to buy mandatory insurance.

Without this understanding and framework, capitalism runs awry, government becomes bloated and topples, crushing the citizens.
