    People there seem happy, and whining when their leader died. we keep hearing all the bad stuff about North Korea, but if the people breed, there must be something nice about it. say something nice about it, unless you know nothing about North Korea. Me, I only suspect I'm not being told the complete truth.

    They really know how to put on an impressive show. Apparently mass insanity on a state level can produce some... unusual results.

    North Korea's original intentions may have been noble. I'm sure after The brutal Japanese occupation, the people of the DPKR really were hopeful that the government was going to bring a fair democratic socialist society that people would be satisfied to live in. It is a shame that this didn't happen.

    w.t.h. What's next. Say something nice about Hitler? Say something nice about Hell? Say something nice about murder. about abortion, about rape.

    What is with this desire to say something nice about Evil and the intolerable? It IS this desire that makes us accepting of what is abhorrent. It makes it okay to give up our freedom, lives and lives of our children because there is some good in everything!! Does that make it easier for you to accept evil and not oppose it?

    The equality that Kim Jong Il was able to create in North Korea is unparalleled anywhere else in the world. Very few have more than their neighbors have. In many ways, it's the ideal leftist society.

    Hitler was a vegetarian. he did not smoke. he wanted equality for people, which may or may not be good depending on where you are standing

    It is likely either of two things will happen with their new leader- he will either be a puppet leader controlled by the military or he will break free and start wearing Gap jeans and smoking Marlboros. In either case, the virus of the west will get to him one way or another.

    Exellent post good fellow. North Korea actually has a great deal of social and political inequality. It is after all, A dictatorship. Someone handed Kim Jong a copy of the book 1984 and said ''look do you think we can make this happen.'' They have done a fairly decent job.
