This is why its good to work in the service industry at least once in your life. So you don't end up as a bitter elitest (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) like this guy. What exactly have you done with your life that makes you so superior to everyone else?
I aint bitter at all. And yes those that work in the service industry are lower than even my dog....And i treat them as such
Do you work? Care to tell us what you do for a living? Do you laugh at morticians too? ME's? How about paramedics/EMT's? You know, those 'gross' jobs where the deceased/broken bodies have to be cared for? Those people I have all the respect for - someone has to do it and thank God, there are people who are willing to do it.... and that includes septic tank cleaners, plumbers, maintainence workers, etc... jobs that have to be done and there's men out there who aren't scared to get in there and do it....
Right. Mocking a customer's physical appearance and being dumb enuf to write it down on her receipt is beyond stupid and insensitive...... Sounds like he is pretty much a kid, so hopefully he'll learn a lesson from this.....
Exactly. No one has any right laughing at someone who's supporting themselves....... My kids started working when they were teenagers, just like I did....in fact, my son went to work when he was only 13 - working for the Dept. of Ecology..... lol. I was working for the state and when I heard kids were being hired, I got my son's name on the list..... cleaning up the trash from the freeways... lol. It did him a lot of good and he earned a paycheck. That's a perfect job for teenagers, but don't think they do that anymore........
If someone has slanty eyes and the kid used that as a description how did he "mock" her?? Fact is that he DIDNT mock her at all.
Aw, you're right, I'm getting tired - my apologies. The word for 'Lady *****y Eyes' would be 'ridicule'..... would that work for you? Anyway, you live in a different world, obviously. For you, rudeness, insults, cheap shots - whatever! is part of your world and it's acceptable.... have at it, bub..... whatever makes you sleep better at night....
I always liked Papa John's sweet sauce... mmm... I'm making myself hungry! That PAPA's is no longer PC makes me want to patronize his franchise more!!!
So, that's your mentality and your problem... Btw, your signature is rather silly - what would you expect when you get on a forum and particularly when you post the stuff you do? Of course, you're going to get 'bites'.... does that really surprise you?
You can't sue someone for offending you in this country. That would be awful (although the lawyers would love it).
If someone called her a *****y eyed woman in the street, I don't think she should be allowed to sue. But if she was called that by an employee at a store she visited, then I think she should have the right to sue the pants off them.
that would be the most ridiculous thing ever. The kid called a spade a spade. Nothing wrong with that.
Is there any PROOF the woman did not write the slur herself? Is there any proof any particular employee did this? Who do you fire if she did not see the offense. Do you fire the entire store? Can she SUE an entire business over the ALLEGED behavior of one employee. In ancient Babylon these was something called trial by ordeal. an accuser could charge anyone with witchcraft and they would be tossed into the Euphrates rapids. If they lived the accuser would be afforded the same opportunity my guess is it cut down on empty "witch-hunts" common in the west. I would toss out her and her money grubbing attorney. we all pay when a corporation bends to frivolous law suits.
The proof was the printed receipt. The real point is, why is this getting such traction? A kid made a racial slur, got caught and was fired. Is there more to this story? Really?
You know, if the left were not so consumed by racial identity and political correctness this would not even be a story. So what if someone wrote that on the sales receipt? The girl was not really harmed in any way and if she had an ounce of self-assurance she would have insulted the guy right back and went on about her business. But to make a national story out of this? That's crazy.
