he plead guilty of a lesser charge that has now been recanted by the girl. he should be released from the plea. he plead guilty because he seemed cornered and pleading not guilty could have put him behind bars forever. he only plead guilty to avoid trial and avoid a nasty conviction. the plea is unimportant here. it was to save him years in prison longer then he pleaded down too.
