No, Truthers think that because 70 floors is more mass than 30 floors, the 70 floors should have been able to hold up the higher 30 floors crashing down.

the section of the Windsor Tower in Madrid that was steel and no concrete, collapsed just due to fire

    yep, that's what they think.

they don't understand the difference between static and dynamic loads.

I wonder if the authors of the link believe the following from the conclusion of the study they reference in their opinion:

I wonder if they realize this is the definition of delusional thinking.

Psychologist Laurie Manwell of the University of Guelph agrees

University of Buffalo professor Steven Hoffman adds

exposed by Communications professors Ginna Husting and Martin Orr of Boise State University

    That's funny.

According to the OP the opinion is based on "The most recent study was published on July 8th by psychologists Michael J. Wood and Karen M. Douglas"

Which according to the original poster is now outdated crap.

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3703523/

    Maybe it's a conspiracy.

Strange that a truther would cite a study that they haven't read. They always pay so much attention to detail.

the one where your citation is an antique and mine is in this century?

    - - - Updated - - -

I showed you the pics, any hirise that collapses due to a couple tiny bbq fires is not fit for human occupancy.

if there were no fires, why did all those folks jump to their deaths?

if there were no fires, what caused the inward bowing of the outer structure?
