Absolutely. Parents often have concerns about all kinds of things, sometimes because the kid tells a whopper to get Mom and Dad off their case: "Ms. Smith never gives us homework..." Well, Mom and Dad need to get to the facts before they deal with the kid. My job as a teacher is to deliver course content and assist parents as they require.

If there is anything that reaffirms my faith in the rationality of the public, it's the thoughtful way parents approached dealing with their kid.
    Yep.

Well, I guess the parents should be grateful that the bastards didn't shoot them dead? Specifics on Dirt Bag Garlands claims of "threats of violence" have been demanded by members of congress and he hasn't come up with a single instance, and certainly not something that requires anything more than local law enforcement. We know what they were trying to pull and it's ridiculous.

Further, you, just dodged squarely answering the question, just like everyone does, which frankly, answers the question: When Parents say: "We don't want you to tell our children that they should be ashamed of being white." Why do they fight tooth and nail, claim the parents are domestic terrorists, rather than saying "No problem, we would NEVER do that!"

    i) Claims Schools aren't teaching CRT, and
ii) ACLU files suit against Oklahoma over law limiting critical race theory instruction

Why ii) if one is true? Makes no sense.
If i) is false, the action in ii) makes sense.
Inference to the best explanation, i) is a lie.

What are they suing to overturn? "Law bans teaching that anyone 'by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive'."

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/aclu-files-lawsuit-against-oklahoma-over-law-limiting-crt-instruction

"The law also prohibits teaching that any race or sex is "inherently superior.""

If parents will not buckle and shut up, they want you declared to be "Domestic Terrorists" essentially "Enemies of the State". Remember, they hate you. They loathe you. They view you as subhuman, that is why they so casually violate your rights. Remember who they are and vote accordinglyly. LET'S GO BRANDON!

Gee, now parents have gone from "maggots" to just "lying accusers trying to gain power?" Teachers that view parents with that kind of hatred need to be removed from the classroom. And as for the "acquisition of power" to make sure their children are not indoctrinated in hate and filth? Their 14 year old daughters raped and sodomized in the school bathroom? Seeking to prevent that is a perfectly legitimate exercise of power by parents and fully consistent with parental responsibility. Fighting to indoctrinate children in hate and racial division, allowing intact males into girls restrooms and then concealing the rape/sodomy so they can continue the mixed gender bathrooms, and then viciously attacking the father of the rape victim who publicly objected, those are illegitimate assertions of power, if not crimes.

    i) Edu-thugs swear that CRT is not being taught in schools
ii) Edu-thugs and the ACLU file suit over law limiting critical race theory instruction.
iii) If i) is true, ii) is irrational
iv) If i) is a lie, ii) is rational.
    v) Inference to the best explanation is that i) is a lie.

ACLU and the Edu-thugs that want parents declared to be Enemies of the State if they refuse to buckle to their insane demands filed suit to overturn this law:

"Law bans teaching that anyone 'by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive'"

"The law prohibits teaching that any race or sex is "inherently superior."
    "

Remember, these people hate you. They loathe you. They see you as "maggots" and "lying accusers". They view you as less than human, which is why they do not hesitate to massively violate your rights.

Remember that as you fill out your ballot. Let's Go Brandon!

Or like you twist words? The accusers are the liars. Most parents aren't like that.
Teachers are seldom haters of anyone.
I know, teachers did that, too--right?
By making up lies about teachers telling white kids to be ashamed they're white?
    You hired the administrators.
    A little teacher bashing?
Teachers dealt with the liars in my district by calling upon parents to support us. It was so ugly a lot of teachers thought parents wouldn't help, but the parents responded by tossing the liars off the school board, all seven of 'em at the same time.

You words were not twisted. You did call them maggots and liars.
I doubt that, and even if they are, that isn't "domestic terrorism." The liars are those making that insinuation.
The law forbids that, and the Edu-thugs are suing to get the law stopped. If they are aren't teaching that, why are they suing to overturn the law?

Have you looked into it, if this is different elsewhere?

Do you think these starting salaries, even in the top states, are attractive to STEM university grads?

The problem with our public schools is the very poor quality of education delivered. We the parents are delivering Top tier finances to the Edu-Thugrocracy, but, they are returning 13th tier results.
The edu-thugs are getting the money, but, it's not getting to the teachers and it's not producing acceptable benefits for our children.

You can yell, scream, call parents "maggots" but, there will be increased PUBLIC accountability for the Edu-Thugs. Working through our Representative Legislatures, we will secure the rights of our children against the predations of the Edu-Thugs. Trying to get us declared Enemies Of The State for speaking up at School Board meetings? The Edu-Thugs declared the war, and we will finish it, at the Ballot Box and in the Courtroom.

How many of them are due to refusing to teach CRT and other assorted communist ideologies?

‘Exhausted and underpaid’: teachers across the US are leaving their jobs in numbers

While teaching is a rewarding career it isn't hard for a well educated teacher to get a better paying job in the private sector. It is hard to remember a better time to make the jump than right now. I would do the same. Actually I did the same a long time ago.
