I think the answer is that they don't want people like that to exist at all because they make them feel some combination of uncomfortable and frightened. If those sort of people do exist then they should just stay the heck away from public spaces in general and public bathrooms in particular.

Anyone or any behaviour that isn't cis-gender and heterosexual is a perversion and if it must exist then it should exist only in the shadows and shouldn't be granted the rights allowed to normal decent people.

 

At such a feeble percentage of the population, "transgender" almost does not exist.

But had I wasted my time presenting reams of fact, your reaction would have been identically uncivil.

Reality which conflicts with conservative beliefs, however bizarre and unfounded those beliefs may be, must be relentlessly attacked, ridiculed and dismissed by the conservative hive.

Well that's the way that the argument seems to go - to insist that gender is binary and determined by configuration of sex organs at birth, call anyone who doesn't conform to a narrow set of views a pervert, and then seek to restrict those perverts' rights.
