In my opinion this is a major step toward a greatly improved situation in the Middle East that could even lead to huge numbers of refugees returning from Europe and America.

It also sure is nice to see both Democrats and Republicans cooperating on a good piece of legislation.

‘Victory for Victims’: Trump Signs Genocide Relief Act for Iraqi and Syrian Christians

Posted by Peter Jesserer Smith on Thursday Dec 13th, 2018 at 10:24 AM

The Iraq and Syria Genocide Relief and Accountability Act is hailed as a vital piece in keeping the Christian presence alive in ancestral homelands.

From what I have read in the past the U. N. favored Islamic refugees.

While the victims of ISIS sure could use any aid sent their way, this seems to me to be a way for the US to keep itself inserted into Iraq and Syria.

As it now stands, the only places where ISIS is still active in Syria is in areas controlled by the US; east of the Euphrates and in the al-Tanf region.

The video in this link is a Russian general briefing foreign military officers on the situation in Syria.

    https://thesaker.is/chief-of-genera...v-gerasimov-briefs-foreign-military-attaches/

Then, there's this, which is a summary of some past US actions.

    https://www.mintpressnews.com/us-support-isis/245868/

Meanwhile, just this past week the US announced it would not leave Syria as long as Iranians were there.

So, excuse me for being a cynic, but there are numerous other ways the US could help but it has refused to cooperate with Syria and Russia in either defeating the terrorists or in providing humanitarian aid. This law is nothing more than an effort to earn some brownie points while continuing to bring misery to the Middle East.

All I know is that as soon as Donald Trump became President the wheels began to turn that led to ISIS being defeated.

It was Russia's entry into Syria in September 2015 that spelled the beginning of the end for the Jihadi cockroaches. The US has struggled to remain relevant in the region and has neither led the fight against the terrorists nor been a part of the peace process.

What the US has done is level Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in Syria, killing thousands of civilians in the process and doing nothing for the survivors after.

It is well documented that the US arranged for ISIS to evacuate Raqqa with all their weapons. Since then ISIS still lingers on in the east of Syria, which is controlled by the US. In the parts of Syria that the Syrian government controls, the only terrorist forces remaining are bottled up in Idlib and would have already been defeated except for the US whining about a humanitarian catastrophe that defeating them would cause. This, after leaving Raqqa bombed into the Stone Age with nary a second thought about the humanitarian cost there. Months after the bombing of Raqqa, no effort at de-mining the city had been made and no humanitarian relief brought in. There were bodies still sticking out from slabs of broken concrete months later. So spare me the obvious bullshit story of the US, particularly Trump, making the difference in defeating the terrorists.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-sh/raqqas_dirty_secret

The BBC has uncovered details of a secret deal that let hundreds of IS fighters and their families escape from Raqqa, under the gaze of the US and British-led coalition and Kurdish-led forces who control the city.

In Syria's Raqqa, corpses still lie in the rubble....

    https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/n...in-denial-about-civilian-casualties-in-raqqa/

Since the publication of “War of annihilation”: Devastating Toll on Civilians, Raqqa – Syria on 5 June, senior figures in the Coalition and its member governments have taken to social media, the airwaves and even the UK Parliament in a bid to dismiss the report’s findings that there was prima facie evidence that several Coalition attacks which killed and injured civilians violated international humanitarian law.

Good point...... but if my theory is correct that President Trump wishes to go down
in history as the third USA President to tackle flaws in central banking policy, (ok, Federal Reserve policy) then
get prepared for the greatest surge in OPTIMISM in America that will cause a real estate boom
that you might not be expecting:

Could a real estate boom plus better Fed policy pay off USA national debt?

Moi621.... who would you prefer to have as neighbours?

Would you like to be surrounded by Hillary supporters......
with their behaviour and general thought patterns.......
or would you prefer to have neighbours who generally tend to support
    President Donald J. Trump?

This desire to have nice neighbours who work hard and pay their own bills.....
combined with the new capability for so many people to do much of their work from
home...... or from their cottage in the country....... could theoretically lead to a boom in
real estate prices for land within one hundred miles of every major USA city.

How nice! After supporting and arming the terrorists Al Nusra and ISIS when they were killing Christians, now they are trying to make amends. What a bunch of b******s.

The Yazidis were treated as human beings by the media and were mentioned - otherwise you wouldn't even know about them since their population is miniscule. But nothing was ever mentioned about the Christians which comprise a large portion of the population in Syria - and who have been there since time immemorial.

McCain even had the audacity to pose with the terrorists right after they massacred a Christian town on the border of Lebanon.

Ones who spell without a superfluous "u"!

We need an Eisenhower Tax Code and rebuild
    the Middle Middle Class.
A politically, not word definition games, PROGRESSIVE TAX CODE.
Then there might even be change for @DennisTate type charities and projects.

I Remember the FREEways being built mid 50's and didn't understand "Freeway"
until now inundated with Toll Roads.
    Toll Roads are regressive.
    Rationing roads by income.
Similar to some metropolitan areas charging for road access.

@DennisTate if you are out there to do something GOOD and CHRISTIAN,
get the universe back on the Eisenhower Tax Code.
    What would Jesus do?

Dennis Tate - How about some prophecies from Saints, which I found to be accurate although vague since they are not supposed to prophesize.

1 - Greece will suffer enormous debt that will be impossible to pay off.
2 - France will suffer civil strife, and then Britain.
3 - The EU will break up and Germany will be the cause.
4 - When Erdogan falls Turkey will conduct a false flag attack and go to war with Greece.
5 - Albania will attack Greece in the North.
6 - Turkey will close the Bosporus and try to take over Cyprus.
7 - Russia will give Turkey an ultimatum.
8 - In one night the Turkish fleet in the Aegean will disappear.
9 - The war will be fought in Istanbul.
10- The US will suffer a large natural disaster and will not be in that war. The troops will be called home, and we will cease to be a world power.
11- Greece will be pressured to fight Russia, but will not.
12- 7 nations will be battling in Turkey to see what they can grab - including Britain, France and Italy. The largest will win; Russia.
12- The carnage will be immense. Whoever fights there will not return to their homes.
13- Istanbul will be completely destroyed except for Saint Sophia.
14- Turkey will be attacked on all sides by its neighbors and an enormous amount will die - supposedly from cholera.
14- Turkey will be divided into 3 or 4 parts. Part will go to Armenia, part to Greece and the rest will become a Kurdistan.
15- To solve the problem of Istanbul, it will be given back to the Greeks.
16- Russia after defeating Turkey will continue to help free Iran - which means that Iran will have been invaded.
17- Russia will then proceed into Syria to free it and when they reach Jerusalem they will be given an ultimatum and that's when the war will become nuclear.
18- Not all nations will be in the war, but the ones that are will be completely destroyed.

Greece has had in the past 4 decades a great amount of Saints equal to the Prophets in the Bible as well as the Saints during the first years of Christianity. One of the charisms given to them is a knowledge of the future. They are not supposed to prophesize since they can be easily misinterpreted by those who are not in a position to interpret them accurately. In addition there are also fundamentalists who like to add on their own skewed versions.

There are also many who are deceived and believe that their inspirations are coming from God - but they are not. I picked up what I wrote from different sources which I believe are accurate, but I can't be 100% sure. Only time will tell.

    @Jeannette

    Greece should GrecExit
and stop thinking Belgium will care about Greek interests.
Such as E.U. factory ships destroying Greek fisheries.

Greece, the ever logical and democratic
needs to stand up on its' hind legs and behave as a nation,
not part of a collective to be exploited

What part do I have incorrect?
There is benefit to being "neutral" and have all sides sending invitations.
Look at India vs Pakistan and it was more profitable to be a neutral.

    Time for GrecExit?
    And defend Greek territorial waters!

Pretty smart for President Trump to use the Russians to do so much of what needed to be done to defeat ISIS wasn't it?

Is President Trump's IQ around 156?

Up here in Canada M. P. Michelle Rempel is doing quite a bit to make people more aware of what happened to the Yazidis.

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/ba...eel-good-agreement-while-yazidis-suffer-alone

Barbara Kay: Trudeau signs another feel-good agreement while Yazidis suffer alone
The Yazidis are a very particular people with very particular needs, and so, alas, less interesting to our “post-nationalist” prime minister than the bedazzling utopian scenario of a we-are-the-world UN vision.

Wow! I didn't know about this until now!

Do you remember what The Beatles did when they got their first check for 5000 dollars after ninety five percent taxes had been held back by the government of England?

They left England and moved to America where the income tax rates were then a whole lot better. If the income tax rate is too high the very wealthy just leave the nation and have most of their income delivered to them in a way that income tax is avoided.

    https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-...-tax-rates-were-90-percent-under-eisenhower-/

Income tax rates were 90 percent under Eisenhower, Sanders says

Good point..... and the U. N. officials so favoured Islamic Refugees that Christians generally avoided any U. N. refugee camp knowing that they were not a safe place for Christians.
