Trump is not at all concerned about himself getting the virus, because his adoring fans are far away form the stage during his rally. So, as always, he thinks about himself first, but the concern that his fans could get sick by spreading the virus among themselves does not factor into the equation.

Trump supporters, when will you wake up and realize that you mean nothing to Trump? You are just a useful tool to give him attention and votes.

 

That only works if any of his staff members are not exposed to the attendees and/or are not asymptomatic. Regardless, his base really believes that he can do no wrong, so it won't matter.

 

It's nothing short of amazing. He crams thousands of loyalists in an enclosed space, and his comment is that He, The Prophet, will be ok from getting infected by any of his filthy faithful.

Your question is the right one... when will they realize that they're just tools of this creep? He exposes them to infection because it helps him get re-elected. Just like he tells them to commit voter fraud and go to prison for him because it helps him get re-elected.

I sometimes wonder if the Left is genuinely offended because Trump doesn't go into hysterics over COVID-19 or if it's just more cynical politics on their part. I mean . . . Nancy Pelosi didn't seem all that worried when she went to the hair dresser and there's video of Cuomo walking his dog around people without wearing a mask. Yep . . . a real mystery. But anyway, thanks for being so very concerned about Trump supporters. Pity that -- apparently anyway -- no leftist was equally concerned while Cuomo and de Blassio were stuffing COVID-19 sufferers into retirement homes.

 

You do realize that it's very easy to pull up photos of countless important Dem Party leaders mingling with people while NOT having their mask in place? Funny that we never hear the political Left being concerned about that. Now what could be the difference . . . oh snap! Biden draws only a handful of people -- and mostly just the press at that -- to his public speaking engagements while Trump pulls in thousands of people at a time. Mystery solved. Anyone with normal human empathy and or caring for their fellow beings would have insisted those in attendance wear masks and distance themselves. But because Capt. Clorox has publicly sought to downplay the virus from the start blind loyalty to him has taken the form of behaving in ways that put your health and those around you at risk. It is perhaps the most definitive sign of cult-like behavior yet displayed by Trumpleton's.

 

The acceptance of bodily harm or even death for a "cause" has been used in the past as a test of loyalty to a leader. It seems that it is no different in this case.

 

We all need to take a moment and appreciate the implications. Americans are jeopardizing their well being by acting in ways that go against publicly available warnings from health professionals, potentially exposing themselves to a deadly pathogen, in order to attend a rally given by a conman.

Looking at his answer, he said "Because you know why.....". I would be interested to know what was the question. The actual question asked is conspicuously absent from your link as well as the actual paper that employs the reporter. If the question was " Aren't you worried about catching Covid with that many people...", then his answer makes perfect sense and is not selfish even remotely. If the question was "Are you worried about Covid spreading in a crowd of that size..." then his response would be selfish.

I would be willing to bet the question was the former, while you and every other leftist is filling in the blank as if the question were the latter.
