Turning Point USA's Candace Owens Smacks Down Black Lives Matter

Conservative writer and commentator Candace Owens earned some celebrity cheers and jeers Saturday after she posted a must-see video of herself smacking down a group of Black Lives Matter protesters who were trying to disrupt a Turning Point USA event at UCLA Wednesday night.

Owens, the communications director for TPUSA and frequent guest on Fox News, was having none of it, and let the protesters know in no uncertain terms what she thought about their "victim mentality."

"It's embarrassing!" she exclaimed.

"There is an ideological civil war happening," Owens told the audience. "Black people that are focused on their past and shouting about slavery, and black people that are focused on their futures."

I agree. The Dems have always considered the black vote a lock but have done little to nothing to improve their quality of life. To add insult to injury, because hispanics represent a growing demographic the Dems now treat illegals far better than black Americans. Candace Owens is the champion all blacks should be supporting, the Democrat party represents the African American past and she is the future.

 

And think how dangerous she is to the left wing narrative.

i don't think that's remotely likely. the consensus seems to be that kanye is doing kanye things again.

That it did and with Kanye, the fact that Blacks now have the lowest unemployment in history has to make Blacks think twice about supporting the Democrats. Especially knowing how dirty the Democrats played it in this last election.

 

Time for blacks to wake up. Democrats don't treat them well.

 

they don't. republicans also treat them worse. the two party system is like that. there's a paternalistically racist party and a homicidally racist party.

 

The fact of the matter is:
- Democrats don't do ANYTHING for black folks, because they take the black vote for granted.
- Republicans don't do ANYTHING for black folks, because they consider the black vote as a lost demographic.

The reason for this is that since the 1960's the black vote have been 99% locked in for the Democrats (LBJ has been spot on in his prediction so far!), and they shame anyone who dares breaks rank within their demographic. They need to figure out some way to make the parties fight over them. Blindly handing their vote to the democrats is obviously not the way; the democrats like them just the way they are. I think they may finally be coming to this realization.

 

When Trump asked blacks what they had to lose by voting Republican, I think he was spot on.

You don't get anywhere in life by blaming other people for your problems and doing nothing to solve them. This should be obvious.

That's solid advice I tell basically anyone on any subject. But if you tell that to black people then you're a racist for some reason.
