Doing what is best for our nation very often means involving ourselves in other countries problems, lest they begin to negatively affect us. For example, pulling troops out of terrorist-infested countries only frees them to become offensive rather than to defend themselves,
and they may end up on our doorstep, like 9-11. Isolationism is the worst of all worlds and we won't feel the ramifications for a while, as
cost of living begins to rise. Your boy is not a smart person, and we need more women in leadership positions.

    You just verified my statement.

If helping another nation prioritizes us then fine, if it doesn't then don't do it.

Not sure what your point is here.

Good, then we are in agreement since our involvement with other nations problems is necessary for our well-being, yes?
Viet Nam was the exception since there was no benefit.

I disagree that its necessary for our well being.

    Vietnam was the exception.

Then Obama came and went on an international apology tour for serving our own interests. Then he signed the Paris Accord and the Iran deal. Stopped enforcing immigration laws.

What did we gain by causing the Arab Spring?

Are you picking another exception? OK. Good choice. You could also include the central American countries whose people are flocking to our borders.
