https://thepostmillennial.com/republican-staffers-shot-in-minneapolis Two campaign staffers for Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar's challenger, Lacy Johnson, were shot on Monday in Minneapolis. One, a 17-year-old named Andre Conley, has died. A suspect was taken into custody Thursday morning in connection with the shooting following a police pursuit, according to the Minneapolis Police Department. The 17-year-old died at the scene while the other was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, MPR News reported.
So "Trump supporters" are targeting Republicans, right? It's high time the Left says 'Houston, we have a problem '.
Eye witnesses reported the shooter was wearing a hoodie and dropped a bag of skittles. Hopefully some DNA was collected.
How long will it take to condemn the second political assassination in less than a month? Can our own political candidates condemn them, because as some have said: Silence is violence.
I live in the area and at this point there is no indication that the victim was targeted because of politics. Currently in Minneapolis you as likely to be shot for your shoelaces as you are your political beliefs. Yesterday morning in a near suburb a doctor was shot in the head in a hospital parking lot in a botched petty robbery. Thank God the man child idiot Mayor Fry tweeted a picture of a sunrise screeching about globull warming to ease the wounded doctor's pain. It is a daily occurrence in the city and guns and ammo are nowhere to be found. God Bless my Dillon 550
Thanks for the on the ground reports. This is a story that I want to see if it evolves. With twitter and doxxing, I want the police chief to confirm. Regardless it's sad that a 17 year old died.
He did? In the article or are you making assumptions based upon “It is shocking and unnecessary acts of violence like this that prove why change is needed now more than ever in our community,” Johnson said, noting that the incident did not happen during any campaign events. Because it didn't happen during a campaign event, doesn't automatically make it not related to his campaign.
Who do you call when you're getting shot for your shoelaces in Minneapolis? You know the police department is running low on funds and the mayor is part of the problem.
You may not hear from the police chief who is busy because a couple of days ago he was put on the hot seat for two hours by the very city clowncil that unanimously voted to defund and dismantle the police department, as to why there is such a sudden surge in violent crime in the city. Somehow those asshats can't figure it out all by themselves.
You ask an interesting question. Many areas of Minneapolis are now having their 911 calls prioritized. Hence we see a huge surge in requests for firearm training at our facility. At least 20 first time gun owners per day. Yes, they get a lesson in the value of a 2nd. amendment on their way to the classroom and a link as to where to register regardless of which state one lives.
He did. While I am not supporting any Republicans right now, at least the non-political way that Lacy Johnson has handled this tragedy has earned him a lot of respect.
