Hey, I'm not the one who proclaimed they have all the power. THEY did that, so I'm only asserting blame where it belongs. And whether they like it or not, that's not going to change. It's their mess, now they have to either clean it up or see more seniors die.

So even with social distancing, shutdowns for two months, etc. we are still having 20K new cases daily. This is the second time I'm saying this, you don't seem to understand the point. You're still wanting us to believe had we implemented it a week sooner, 60K less people would have died.

The other countries that have reacted earlier, with a national containment policy, have much better results than the U.S.

They have something the U.S. doesn't have and probably will never have.

    It is simple math

If you start with 2 cases then enact protections then the spread is slower and in fact often can be contained as it has in other countries but if you dock around until there are already 2,000 cases then your chance of containment is much much less and you will have a rapid overwhelming

This is the impact of early interventions on exponential growth.

When the cases were just starting, even minimal reductions to the exponential growth has tremendous impacts down the road.

So can Trump not play golf till there are no covid cases active in the country? Or did you need something new to whine about today?

Was the comparison too complicated or do you just choose to ignore it?

Brag about what you like and ignore his long list of miserable failures and bs.

The data that you are claiming ( including the per capita stack ranking of countries) is drastically different than the data reported below.

    https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

I believe that you are reading something incorrectly. You are not even in the ballpark.

I have offered up Alabama on countless threads that insist hospitals are ghost towns. But no takers. Not sure if that is because they aren't following the virus there, or they don't want to...
